The Legend of Ramrod
Ramrod was the most fearless cat of all the land
He roamed across the country wild and free
Brave beyond compare Ramrod ruled from sea to sea
No one knows how Ramrod ever got so brave
That story forever will remain an unsolved mystery
To be buried along with Ramrod’s seven lives
But the legend of Ramrod will not soon die
Ramrod was a fearless cat unlike any other
Tall and proud more like a lion he would roam
Ramrod in his own right a predator on the prowl
A cat with an attitude king of his turf
Beware should anyone dare challenge
I’ll never forget the day I met Ramrod
He had made his way into my home
Found food and planned to stay
The feral cat decided he’d have the better of me
So we bargained and I lost but what I gained
Was a true friend I’d keep for life
I named him Ramrod for his sass
He had s-punk and he was fierce
Convinced in his delusion he was twice his size
We became the best of friends and
Would love to undertake adventures
He was as clever as he was brave
Ramrod was most unlike any other cat
Wily and savvy I swear he could speak
Grew up in the wild so he was dauntless
Countless horserides through bucolic valleys
Excursions through deep enchanted forest
Ramrod the faithful lion-hearted companion by my side
Many more tales yet to be told of valor deeds and misdeeds
For this feline believed he was anything but an ordinary cat
Such is the legend of the bravest cat who ever lived named Ramrod
