THE OPEN BOOK
The pen, a faithful friend, I hold,
And stories of my life unfold.
In verses woven, line by line,
The tapestry of feelings, mine.
From dawn till dusk, the words they flow,
Of lives entwined, the ebb and flow.
The people dear, the moments shared,
In stanzas kept, and ever cared.
No fiction spun, no tales untrue,
But honest truths, for me and you.
Each poem born of heart and soul,
A life revealed, a story whole.
The joys, the sorrows, and the fears,
The laughter echoed through the years.
All captured there, in measured rhyme,
The rhythm beating to life's time.
So let the ink forever run,
A testament to what's been done.
My life's own book, in poetry's grace,
A mirrored image of time and space.
