Being At Sea
The masses ask worrisome questions.
They are perturbed about recent happenings.
Although, their actions and judgements spear-headed these woes.
Yet, they are entitled to explanations.
We paid heed to promises from masquerades.
Was this the future we dreamt of ?
Or, we were tapped from behind only to turn around and see several similar faces ?
There is a faint hope to normalization.
The stench hits hard on all.
A point to accommodate varied views.
To explore and test alternatives.
Highly confident perceptions sometimes end beneath the mud.
We are guided by constructive criticisms.
To self-study and retrospect when reality sets in.
It's better to consider than to be egoistic.
For the good of all it matters.
Our heads are by the stakes.
And we yearn for freedom and stability
We demand urgent remedies for such distress.
For the greater majority has no easy way out.
