A Night Beneath the Sky
Not once did I blink,
Afraid your gaze would fade at twilight’s brink,
Drowning silent in your soundless sea,
Begging the world to let me be,
Even if death walks next to me.
No past to flee,
No future to believe,
Only you — a shadow near,
Clutching time in a crystal tear.
I won’t let go of your hand,
Though skies might break and stars might land,
Your arms are heaven’s night,
Lit by my longing’s lightning light,
Your voice — death and life in one tight breath.
Each second casts a spell,
Dark skies broke, the wounded earth fell,
Under your touch the world will burn,
I’m the shadow in your eyes that turns.
No dreams remain, no paths to lose,
Just this fierce, real pulse I choose,
As you breathe,
As you burn,
Gone or stayed , beside me turn.
If life is short — one day’s enough,
One breath in fire, one name in the rough,
When it ends,
I remain,
In shadows and lights that whisper your name.
