No, I don't want to be alone, but if I'm not alone, I become a selfish soul lost in the crowd

No, I don't want to be alone, but if I'm not alone, I become a selfish soul lost in the crowd,
Alone in the arms of others, like a traveler lost without a map among unfamiliar faces,
If I'm not alone, I become a martyr of silence or a voiceless flatterer amid the clamor,
My soul slowly drowns in the murky waters of endless, boundless compromise.
No, I don't want to be alone, but I can only be like a lighthouse shining in the night,
Like an echo that always returns to itself, trapped in its own call, with no escape,
I'm caught between the desire to belong and the need to fly freely under endless skies,
Like a butterfly longing for the sunlight, yet fearing the flame that lurks.
In these contradictory waves of my heart, I find myself in the quiet of my corner,
Where I can silently dance with the shadows of thoughts, listening to the murmur of unspoken dreams,
Embracing my solitude like an old friend who whispers truths meant only for me,
And in this refuge of mine, I find the peace of an endless night, embracing my true self.
