Landlubber S Reckoning

Landlubber’s Reckoning

On land, a perfectly good wife.
She’d give and he’d take with no strife.
Her loins are an urn.
Her lantern does burn.
Unknown to her — he’s a low life.

A wink and a nod from the sea.
Conjured up some lust just for he.
The waves and the foam,
His boat it did roam.
Aghast at the sirens’ glee.

The catch of the deep end of tricks.
The Eves and their applish picks.
Surrenders his mind.
Their teeth they do grind.
He’s fallen for pranks and their pricks.
