FAITH IN GOD WHO TEACHES US HIS KNOWLEDGE
God teaches us His knowledge about perfect judgment
Against iniquity-caused impairment
Beyond our vanity with worldly engagement
Toward the nurture of our faith’s commitment.
God teaches us His knowledge about assured salvation
Against confusion-noise brought by hell’s damnation
Beyond our doubt with its mocking provocation
Toward the strength of our faith’s function.
God teaches us His knowledge about upright heart
Against wicked doers with sins they impart
Beyond our carnality He knows from the start
Toward the security of our faith’s integrity against evil dart.
God teaches us His knowledge about great blessing
Against idol worship defying Scriptural praising
Beyond our hypocrisy inviting cursing
Toward the steadfastness of our faith’s stand by His raising.
God teaches us His knowledge about spiritual righteousness
Against religiosity with haughtiness
Beyond our boastfulness, exalting our selfishness
Toward the performance of our faith’s truthfulness.
God teaches us His knowledge about marvelous victory
Against reproaches from downfall’s misery
Beyond our defeat that roars with sorrowful worry
Toward the triumph of our faith’s testimony in sharing Gospel story.
God teaches us His knowledge about Biblical standard
Against indecency devoid of moral vanguard
Beyond our laxity in obeying Him as His steward
Toward the fruitfulness of our faith’s work as we serve in His vineyard.
