To Which Image Should We Cling?

Springing like a drop of water from the Supreme Brahma
I've mingled with wells, lakes, seas, and oceans. With streams, I've flowed
I've played the role of soul of a river in life-drama.
As an element, I've followed every nature-spelled code.

In the cycle of the environment, I change my form.
The drop becomes vapour. The psyche enters the physique.
New touch, new caress, new cuddle, and new kith and kin norm
Each trail and track, as that of a vagabond's, is unique.

I have nothing to cling to. My tent is so tentative.
Though everything is mine, to nothing, I am the owner.
Attractions here, like doses of nectar, are addictive.
Some touches touch. To others, I remain a loner.

As blossoms wrap the aroma, by the divine, I'm swathed.
By the endless shine of the infinite bliss, I am bathed.
