The Resurrection of Christ and His temptation Ist Corinthians 15:1-2 part one

Now brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which
you have received. on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel
you are saved, if you hold firm to the word which I preached to you. Other
wise you have believed in vain. 1st Corinthians 15:1-2

For what I received I have passed on to you as of first importance: that
Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that he was buried,
that he was raised again on the third day according to the scriptures 1st
Corinthians 15:3-4

Jesus Christ first appeared to Peter (and also John) and to the twelve (not
including Judas Iscarat, the original son of perdition, that Satan was allowed
to enter into. In order that he might betray him to the Jewish religious author
ites for thirty pieces of silver, the price of a slave.)

Next he appeared to five hundred of the breathern, and also to
the apostle Paul. It, does not mention that he also appeared to
Mary Magdalene before he showed himself to Peter, but the
gospel accounts do indeed mention it. Most likely because she
was a woman and a second class citizen of Jesus' days.

Q: Did Jesus die and rose again to defeat the works of his enemy, Satan?

A: In fact, no one can enter into a strong man's house (Satan's house) and
carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he
can rob his house. Mark 3:27

The Temptation of Jesus

A: The devil lead him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all of
the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him,"I will give you all of their
authority and splendor for it has been given to me; and I can give it to
anyone I want to. So if you worship me, it will all be yours. Luke 4:5-7

Jesus answered, "It is written: Worship the Lord your God and serve him
     only." Luke 4:8.

Clearly, Satan wants to not only be worshiped as God, but he also wants both
Jesus and people to worship him, instead of God, Himself!

A: Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point
of the temple. "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For
      it is written:

"He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their
hands, so that you will not strike your feet against a stone." Mathew 4:5-6

A: Jesus answered him, "It is also written: Do not put your Lord God to the test."
       Mathew 4:7.
