Hellion
Soaked with devil’s breath
The sunset captures the lonely
Tassels that whip wildly
As the sky softens
Puddles dry from hells heat
Burning wickedly
A familiar cackle rips you sober
Before more wasted delusions flow
Glued mirrors hang
Twinkling shards cut the shadows
Stars fade into silhouettes
Broken wishes pierce the weak
Time vanishes as her skin melts away
He smoked out the night watchers
She peels off the sweat stains
Hellion winks her way
Lament the daylight
‘Till it slips away
Bleed tortured heartache
Ignoring the silent waves
Tug the anchor
Drag you along the floor
Does he sing her name or muffle it’s meaning
Hooded by compulsion, he signed blue
