Rain
can't equate worth from how they respond
delighted to see me then I'm all wrong
dance at my presence or beckon me forth
look forlorn when they see me, run indoors
listen to my gentle touch, that pitter patter
soothing sounds on tin roof clatter
make flowers thrive, glisten in beauty
honour your whims and do my duty
excite the senses, make rainbows appear
be confident but careful not to be too cavalier
never looking back to when confidence lacked
I'm a force of nature, an indisputable fact
