Faithful Hearts
I feel the joy, promising hope,
Familiar joy – ensuring I can cope.
I feel the song, playing in my soul,
Beautiful music, praises to extol…
He is my joy, my honor, my life.
He is the comfort who takes away all strife.
He is my cheer, my solace, my relief.
From every burden, every sin and every grief.
I feel the light, reflecting His gentle love,
Familiar light, shining softly from above.
I feel the wonder of peace without end.
There is no doubt that He is my best friend.
He is the reminder that God is in control.
He’s my always and He makes me whole.
He is my light in the darkest black of night.
He has a love that makes everything alright.
I feel the stillness that lends me such grace.
Beautiful whisper of a love I’ll ever embrace.
I feel the calm that shadows the heart who believes.
There is the promise that His love – it never leaves.
He is the answer to every question I might ask.
Because He is love, I have no need to wear a mask.
He knows me better than I can possibly conceive.
All He requires is a heart who will truly believe!
