Tock, as above the grasshopper resides,
Tick, blink and you will miss me, as I dine,
Tock, I am the reaper of all your time.

Tick, the corpus coffin lids are opening,
Tock, in the slits between my eyes,
Tick, the walking corpses keep arriving,
Tock, my pendulum gracefully killing time.

Tick, snatch each breath each longed for kiss,
Tock, for my existence has nothing to redeem.

Tick, and like a venomous serpent pounce
Tock, quietly listening to the toll bells chime.
