perfection doesn't need attention
be happy, comply with convention

laws of physics, unchallenged fact
shadows are correctly situated
lulled, partially sedated
pretty pictures they soothe the soul
relinquish self and forsake control
smash obstruction, see reality
lose faith in safe mortality
jump through windows, trust your own sight
just not right now, no, please not tonight
close the curtains, forget this stage
no need to worry within your cage
look how peaceful we could be
without an eye for surreality
