Spray faith all around you lest you should go astray
Clinging to and clutching shells of emptiness
In your conformance to the spiritual and moral ray
That stresses naughtiness and pettiness
Hoping to raise standards
Steeped in diligence and excellence
To keep all stakeholders and guards
On their toes as they strive for diligence
To urge you make up your mind
To lift spaces and times
Friends and foes grind
Into the plasticity and elasticity they like in their climbs
To fancies and fantasies they hold dear
With their eyes, ears and brains
At the ready to deflect fear and tear
From treasures and pleasures teeming in trains
That fly high the flag of achievements
Friends and fiends score as they pore
Over strategies and techniques that catalyze developments
In mining opportunities concealed in the main role
You surmise mean well
For further progress and friends and fiends digress
Energy, synergy and strategy in a groundswell
They believe feeds and favours the tigress
Who plays cards too close to her chest
Assuming you’d fume
Puff and bluff over silly stuff gone to waste
When you determine there ain’t no point in dwelling on gloom and doom
As you make the last ditch effort to stitch
Worn and drawn out palaver
You believe no longer can teach or preach
Fidelity, certainty, loyalty and humility to your estranged lover.
