In my distress

2 Samuel 22:7 NIV?
[7] “In my distress I called to the Lord; I called out to my God. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came to his ears.

In my distress I called to the Lord,
From, the depths of the walking tombstone,
That, was built around me from worldly wisdom.
In darkness staggering around in blindness.
While, thou heart was being covered by Stone.
From, the teachings, that keep all in division.
Competitions to build one's own temple to God.
Hopeless, in which tradition to follow.
In my distress I called to the Lord.
One ,night when seeking God's word on my own.
In hope ,it must be something in this life's purpose.
This is when God heard my humble cry.
Jesus promised spirit showed up to roll away
The Stone that had kept me in darkness.
Not of own works but surrendering to His will.
To shine in the Spirit of life into the broken heart.
Casting out darkness within and revealing
The darkness in this worldly deception of man.
With the Spirit making the presence known.
Written with a new pen not on stone.
In my distress I called to the Lord,
For another to receive this free eternal inheritance.
Lord, just allow me to hold the chisel.
While, you swing with power and glory,
Swing again with Love, humility, and gentleness,
That the Love in your words crack open,
Another, walking tombstone that have yet.
To know, this kind of Love to shine in the heart,
Purifying One into A Child of the Living God.
Released from captivity of bondage that
One might even now be released as a caged bird
To soar in the presence of God
