Stray

Little by little
I'm leaving you behind
over the clouds
there is no sky
there is a big fog
in your eyes
I do not see you anymore
under the light.

We were all children
once upon a time
so many paths
we needed to find
rocks in water
W,X,Y
Nobody knew anything
upside down life...

There are many stories
they invented for us
and so many lies
they told us
up in heaven
there is one of us
passing sentences
for all of us...

I met you early
I've seen you before
the sake bites the heel
I'm rolling down a slope
the scar on my forehead
and my broken toe
makes me sometimes scream
around the clock

I feel like a coward
I also feel brave
sometimes I can cope
sometimes I just scape
I'm the same as everyone
with a different trait
we can't forget what's important
but the urgent can't wait.

There is always someone willing
to throw the first stone
and wanting to wake us up
when we snore
will you come down from heaven
my good lord?
to multiply the bread and wine
for this world?

You ask and you ask
you don't know how to give
when will you open your eyes?
When you'll retreve?
you rolled over time
you made it up to here
but there is not restart botton
as you can see

If they touch them
they touch me
you think you are a master
when you are just a thief
the street is a place
to commit
and your mouth is huge
and your mouth is too big...

And I just can't stop
writing today
while my earthy mess
has to wait
up there the Gods laugh
while I'm stray
they don't seem to notice
that I'm late.
