Pythagoras
Pythagoras was a mathematician.
He taught mathematics in ancient Greece.
He created a now-famous theorem.
You can bisect a rectangle or square.
Draw a line between opposite corners.
This will result in two right triangles.
The two sides opposite each right angle
are commonly called a “hypotenuse“.
The sum of the squares of the base and height,
equal the square of the hypotenuse.
