Premium MemberBlessed Quieted True Softly Spoken-

O’ Blessing unto you this Good New Day true;
Beloved brothers and sisters
Look dear ones too
With your hearts eyes hued
Glued focus with your soften heart
Imparted visions whispering naught
Well rested tried and tested Renewed
You are loved and blessed have an awesomely good new day
Softly spoken quietly true

Premium MemberThe Mind Quieted

ultimate expressions
appear
   are they genuine
or
  no

perhaps
      a worship of false
idols
    these poems
                of my soul
once anonymous
now
     cast free
to drip
  within me
by day
      by night

Premium MemberRain Has Quieted Down My Soul Today

Rain has quieted down my plants today.
Some overgrown. Many fading away.
Her lilac petals is all over the ground.
She is still the healthiest tree around.

My snowball bush is pregnant with blossoms.
My oak as fresh as if she has flossed gums.
Grass so wet it is like walking in a swamp.
Fluff-tailed squirrels are having a romp.

Nature’s greenery in full force now.
Wonder of beauty is more than a wow.
The plant that arrived in yesterday’s box
Is a hiding place today for a fox.

Rain has quieted down my soul today.
God has arrived, and He is here to stay.

Like a Galilee Once Quieted

Like a tempest churning upward
on seething pinnacles of wind,
like a twisting, whirling violence
that is too cruel to comprehend;
thus the conflict of our nature
intensifies within the breast,
agitating all distortion
as it obliterates all rest.

Like waves, loud and wildly clashing,
tormenting both the sea and shore,
like the mouth of hell enlarging
forever craving more and more
is the plight of human spirits,
hungering always for release,
never finding it till yielded
completely to the Perfect Peace.

Like a Galilee once quieted
where Jesus spoke His "Peace, be still,"
thus the conflict we must forfeit,
the raging war of human will.
Lost in Him our plans, ambitions,
resigned to death the carnal strife,
impotent the vicious madness
in joyous, resurrected life.
