clear cinnamon and pumpkin spice
bringing October into view
fall’s sweet presence is very nice
oranges and yellows in autumn’s hues

spider creates intricate web
clear cinnamon and pumpkin spice
produce in garden grown by Jeb
apple cobbler give me a slice

quick leaf movers – squirrels and mice
oaks let down their hair all around
clear cinnamon and pumpkin spice
acreage of leaves duly found

air is calm, mornings are cooler
Can school wait a year? No dice.
Jimmy needs his brand-new ruler
clear cinnamon and pumpkin spice

Friends From Work

Friends from work they're still friends aren't they
For me that's a positive yes
Hello and a smile make your day
Hi Wayland is the very best

Now missing work takes away some joy
Friends from work they're still friends aren't they
Sometimes they make me say oh boy
My love for them is clear not gray

What more can i possibly say
We all have problems yes indeed
Friends from with they're still friends aren't they
For further proof there is no need

I look forward to my return
With no health issues in my way
And more about them I hope to learn
Friends from work they're still friends aren't they

A little quartern for my friends from Margie's italian kitchen

Not Destined For Each Other

Game of god or a way of life …
Fate left me so weak and tiny.
Forbidden love ; a trick of life.
Passion alights in brevity.

Years back , decision hard I made.
Game of god or a way of life …
A last kiss and goodbye I bade,
Shattered, I could not be his wife.

Lived in hope ; love has afterlife.
He came back to hold me in maze
Game of god or a way of life …
At my door he stood like in daze.

Patient! Time stood with nurse's word.
Ethic was fighting emotion,
His wife sat beside him. Absurd!
Game of god or a way of life …

Pursuit of Excellence Quartern

In a pursuit of excellence
All the effort, no violence
Not an endless, bourgeois voyage
Have all the possible courage

Need not be a total silence
In a pursuit of excellence
When serenity knows no bounds
Tranquillity always rebounds

It's a hard work, not at random
With knowledge and faith in tandem
In a pursuit of excellence
With honesty in corpulence

Be careful, no one could be harmed
It's all peaceful, no one be armed
Prime's to be the benevolence
In a pursuit of excellence
