By being proactive, you’ll find
That you leave many problems behind.
Grab the bull by the horns
And avoid all the thorns
That might prick you when you’re flying blind.
Just some Googling and reaching out
May eliminate stressing from doubt
Or you might find you’re stuck
And be plumb out of luck
Which, to most, is what life is about.

Always positive life
alive, physics, chemistry
body, soul, interaction.
We are this activeness,
reality without mime
we act out of necessity
to process harmony
carrying cosmic vitality,
exhaling all magic...!

Be ready
Every day and
Prepared to do
Rigorous tasks with much
Order
And do not dive into
Conflict by not doing
The task at hand.
It takes to have a plan and
Vigor to do what is right
Everyday.

When we say, If only, it leads on to a wish
Be it for a sunny summer, or to catch a bigger fish,
For honest politicians, for zero income tax
A world without Al Queda, or more time to relax.
Usually it’s someone else, we think should make the change
But if we turn the words around, our lives we rearrange.
For Only if, we Do something, can we help to right the wrong,
Only if, we shout aloud, will we be heard above the throng,
Only if, we decide, can we change what might have been,
For Only if means action, while If only’s , just a dream.

Gray skies loom over the dark mountains all around.
Strong wind blows old leaves rolling across the street.
Branches are thrown about on the dry tan grass.
The branch is gone, once it breaks to fall on bare ground.
Single clouds spout bursts of tears even with blue skies.
The leaves still hanging tremble like someone with fear.
It makes me think of the current upheaval, riots and broken glass.
I ask you why is this what you want?
I pass an old worn gray picnic table, empty today.
I think we just need to sit for a moment to think about this.
We must not deny it, but face it. We must not give up, but believe.
We can be united to plant a tree growing with unity.
We can be so much more than this, if only we stop to see.
People are hurting, dying, revenge is never the way to peace.
Tearing apart what our country stands for destroys it from within.
We are so much better than this. It is a proactive fight we must win.
