Amusing said the Unicorn
whose offspring ran riot
amongst the golden corn fields
In toad stalls fiery hornets roamed
By the wanton pavilion
all hope was gone
a fire crackle sentence serenaded
the dearth of thought culpable
Bramble often permanent
prevaricated by the ha ha
in the vista of no return
casting our thoughts to yesterday

One picture appears to be ovaries.
said our rosaries
please protect our ovaries
here and overseas
on sabbatical
that had become tactical
being radical
investigated
then we had contemplated
interrogated
seemed stimulated
proving prevaricated
so poorly stated
had tolerated
was never educated
eradicated
while an allusion
would have caused much confusion
disturbed by delusion

In the grip of Rivers of Babylon
Arise to consolidate your fight for faith
And God pain and strain from your comfort zone
Will slay to renew and reinvigorate the breath
Essential to make a way
To the salvation you deserve
As on bended knees you pray everyday
Your God in due season you serve
Reminding the Devil is a liar
Whose maneuvers to lead you astray
Can no longer soar higher
When into your life returns the ray
God shines brighter and brighter
Clearing dark clouds
That for an instant held you tighter
Enveloping you in doubt shrouds
You fight better and better
As faith grows stronger
To break away the sin and temptation fetter
The Devil squeezed a little longer
When you prevaricated
Granting him room to ensnare you
As your faith vacillated
Until your faith resolve in Babylon grew anew
To consolidate your path to salvation
Whacking the Devil
Into submission
Alongside his bags and tags teeming with evil.

Trump Prevaricated
To be President Trump waited and waited;
And all of us thought he had hallucinated;
Standing alone;
Ignorance shown;
First President who we knew prevaricated.

Lavitated and Gravitated
Like angels around Trump people gravitated,
And came closer as they greatly gravitated;
Strength became stronger,
While each nose is longer;
Were those who to prefer to be prevaricated.

Annihiliated and Decimated
All of our animosity had been annihilated;
Things determined to be disliked decimated;
May be ideal,
But not real;
Sounded like a plan which was prevaricated.

Confiscated Instead of Waited
Instead of for a while Trump having waited,
Committed a crime and things confiscated;
A liar born
With much scorn;
Was provocative when he always prevaricated.

Started Becoming Senile
After thinking about it for a while
Years of age had begun to compile
Often about it lied and prevaricated;
When I was born even post-dated;
Like all old people ended up senile.

Has Been-Do Again
Poorly painted-Thoroughly tainted
Currently consented-Mind absented
Body Becoming-Up summing
Totally Theatrical-Some Sabbatical
Currently incredulous-Pretty Propitious
Enduring end-Should suspend
Could Do-Can You
On display-total dismay
People prevaricated-Ultimately uneducated
Poem preparing-Started sharing
Up dried-So satisfied.
Write more-What for
Rhyming quadruplet-Should let
Four words-New nerds.
Ho ho-Oh no.
My new style of poetry writing.

Hostile Became
Hostile became when humiliated
And not only that was agitated
Said bad behavior did display
So I had done it anyway
Also lying and prevaricated.

Out Double Door and Did Disappear
In an awkward position I was once situated
When to some people I had prevaricated
With my many ideas that were outdated
And major changes in my life contemplated.
Closer and closer closing date now became
For me to find all my fine fortune and fame
It was then that I decided to start taking aim
Wondering on who should I place the blame.
So Hillary or Hiawatha just who would it be?
Lingering like a lunatic looking for only me
To place vote on that set whole country free
Felt sorry for those dying at Wounded Knee.
It was then that I had heard very many cries
Of those who were starting to sympathize
We should let our by and bys be by and bys
And then again reality begin to finally realize.
Of all of my many mistakes I had lost count
That to many seemed to be a huge amount
While people in Congress were sitting here
Went out double door and all did disappear.

How I Got Started
I had to write a poem for Nick
His kindy teacher said I should
Hummed and hawed, prevaricated
Before deciding that I would
Miss Fordyce was so enchanted
She read it out to all the class
Didn't know the seed she planted
It's growing now like mondo grass
I’d read a little bit of Burns
In school it was compulsory
Never paid too much attention
It never seemed to interest me
Spent many years without knowing
The wonder written words expose
The problem is my ignorance
I can't tell poetry from prose
I know not of techniques and terms
The rules of rhythm and of rhyme
I only know the sounds that please
And hope to learn them all in time
Some words that I have never heard
Iambic? haiku? what are these?
As far as my poor brain can tell
They’re double Dutch or Japanese
But I feel I’m slowly learning
By seeing what the friends portray
On this site of clever poets
And think that I am here to stay
