What's wrong with them Americuns
forever pointing fingers
always pointing guns
searching for someone to blame
never changes
stays the same
with 'Love thy neighbour,'
and 'Thou shalt not kill,'
religious to the core
hypocrites to boot
and what's more
shooting people children too
wondering why innocent die
and yet they haven't got a clue

Pointing to nothing
Is a story which may be
Intended as erasure..
But nothing stands
As a word..suggesting
The futility of a word
To be more than a word..
Yet it might be said
The appearance
Of a word is empty..
Hence.the dilemma...

You say I should/
Pay for my crimes/
But, I'm innocent/
You won't be satisfied/
Till you put/
A bullet in my head/
You call me *****/
Because of my conviction/
But, I don't stoop/
To that level/
I never done that/
But, you won't stop/
Even after my body/
Lays in the ground/
You will always/
Have a reason/
To find fault with me/
You call yourself/
A... Christian/
But, your love for Jesus/
I do not see/
All you ever share/
Is your hate towards me/

Pointing fingers, wagging tongues,
the "blame game" never gets things done..
Steamy anger and it's spillage never
heals the hurting village..
Don't just stew and act fettered, work
to make things a bit better..

To be honest, I don't blame Islam to let them wait till mirrage.
These people are allowed to have a crush,
but not yet love.
All of their behavings make sense.
Because now I am stucked in the university,
people pointing fingers at me,
from what happend,
back when I was in the classroom alone that day.

take a look around
and you will find my head
sitting in the middle of the floor
not thinking
the rest of my body is strangely
intact, surprising the present, dark
company due to the way that i
interact
the seasons have all been abolished,
and the rulebook bleeds from the many
sharp shards of glass that always give
it a cold welcome
all corners are haunted with great and
specific attention to detail
all of the space has been gobbled up and
spat out because the the simple fact that
the taste matches the grimy grimace of
the modern world
take a right turn and you will fall and die
immediately from the brain bleed from the
head trauma as a direct result of the fact
that all turns are left ones

Finger, like so many, aims at me
and then at something else.
Finger is a small yet significant creature.
Finger's addressing me by pointing,
pointing to me, saying,
saying without speaking.
Finger sports a nail that may hold the significance
of that creature, that digit: brown-ended with soil
or brightened with soap on a bright-cleaning brush.
One or the other (as they say).
Finger will point up or down or way across
at me, at you, at her, at him, at it.
Finger may dip its eager end into cream or candy
and move swiftly to eager lips,
be licked, sucked on, causing eyes to brighten and smile.
Finger may point a mile
up the lane or down the road,
up to heaven or down to hell.
Ah, finger, you can be friend or foe (as they say),
or something between those two
with or without significance of expression.

I don't point
I don't cast blame
With a log in my eye
As brothers are the same
A hypocrite I'd be giving flak
Care to let your judgement linger
As three of your fingers will point back
See now you know when you point a finger

It’s called lip pointing.
It’s fun. You should come work with us.
We get paid good money.
I was tempted. Not only was she my cousin
But Flo had a surreal prettiness about her,
A glow other girls did not have.
I wanted to be around her,
Everyone did.
She was the “it” girl.
Of course I said yes.
Learning the trade in gulps and blips.
I was good at it; I could do watches quickly.
You glow too! My mother said.
So proud. I was the new “it” girl.
Until I was no longer a girl at all
Rather a jawless thing
Thanks to radium which was more dangerous
than we ever believed
I was an “it” girl
who led her cousin Flo to the grave
All she had to do was follow my glow…..

Blame game players sigh and lamely cry,

where the wind falters on gold wheat crown
Where slivers of interference spit as rain
Where echo hops from stone to stone
where sound slurps on melting ice
Where we wear the were and ware
