Phene Poems | Examples

Mr Slim

He was a born teacher
From birth destined to be
You'd know by his phene.

In capitalist-run schools
He's taught for many years
Earning pennies for labour.

Three years a beneficiary
On stipend of N-power teach
The Program axed by corruption.

Then long a community teacher
He's rendering public service
For little pay out of community levy.

He's adept; he got more papers
Hoping for full employment
With satisfaction in the job.

He got a conversion to EdoStar
State-run, two-year probationer
On the barest wage.

On his appointment
In the civil service, he got
The news of his careerlong pursuit.

The government is youth-centric
On account of his age, maybe his status
Or affiliation, he's disqualified.

Meanwhile politikers in the council
Of politricks make millions
By the seconds chattering all day.

Former Me

It’s the end of the day,
Return to sin,
Forget about the world again.

The pills digest,
And euphoria drowns,
The chronic sounds,
The masters fake,

To simulate His divine chair,
The thought that He was never there.

No cross to bare,
No pain to spare,
Just look around,
He’s everywhere.

Sinners sin, pheners phene,
Street walker just trying to stay clean,
It’s a sinner’s world, It’s a dirty world,
It’s the post-requisite of a perfect world.

She holds my hand,
So I can see she’s there
But the demons stare,
And the darkness cares.

An immortal snare
Quit you don’t dare
A surrender to truth
Too much to bare.

The love of the Father,
Redeems the heart,
A new creation,
A brand new start.

Tuff Heart But Easy Love

All the fluids in the atmosphere, that were in here were revealed.
Now there's a place not to far from here, where everything is whole & pure
& life its self is peace filled.

I live in a magic show, where things come & go
& people fail you but love still grows.

My story doesn't tell me lies but the things that I'd abide, my darkness
doesn't shine like the white light in the sky, her face is precious &
sad to say goodbye, this love we can surely rely.

This mess we must clean, it is not our job to say who's mean, we all
have an addiction of this life phene, but it doesn't mean that we can't dream.

I must not limit my own standards for I am not king, I lift my hands up high
as if I'm flying over the world with my wings, & I can feel the texture of her
Heart beating now she's queen, so nervously she looks away & than looks at me,
O' what shout full, joyful sing, she can sing to me.

The Hunt

Happiness is my enemy-

I crave it so hard that
I seek it in the wrong places

Like a phene in the night

Roaming the streets
  Collecting trash for a hit..

The taste is so euphoric

I ride its high
like a wave...

And when it ends
I come crashing down
into the Earth

And dissolve,

Pulling myself back away
From the sunlight,
    Fading
Into the shadows

Where I eagerly await
     Another taste.

Cracked

Theres no life in my broken heart,
Theres no finish line once I start.
Digging for that love,
Tying love letters to the feet of a dove.
I never once thought,
That with you my heart shall fought.
My trust goes far,
But grows as fast as sinking tar.
I watch myself go down,
Making my life look as if a clown.
Untill the better day,
That I finally decided to get away.
Lighting struck my pain,
Ridding them with it's flames.
There was no life in my broken heart,
There was no hope in my mindless art.
Till the day I see my dream,
Is the day I refuse to phene.
