Pessimistically Poems | Examples

Premium MemberI Could Sit Around and Bemoan

I could sit around and bemoan our country’s woes
Pessimistically wrestle with the problems we face,
Convince myself that all is lost, in our death throes
See only a lousy future for the whole human race,

I could spend time thinking about what seems wrong
Perhaps, forgetting wars and disasters of the past
Spend my time berating the present with a sad song.
Stewing about just how long we as a nation will last.

But, I still see promise in that “shining city on a hill,”
I see the glass as half full, and sunrise in the morning
We’ve survived wars and depressions, going strong still
The times, yes, they are changing, new ways aborning.

For every Donald Trump, I believe there is a Liz Cheney
Who is standing up for truth and the American way,
Good things in our country, convinced there are plenty
I will stand up for our America … forever and a day!

You Dirty Rat

If infinity has no end, then where did it all begin?
Opinions were given by...
Theories pondered and the proof has been under Investigation by...
The private eye that was named:
“Able Answer.”
This guy is a half empty glass from the full range of open thinking.
Pessimistically closed for business;
Able Answer is relieved by his polar opposite:
“Question Able.”
Ha-ha, I found you.

Oxidization Oxon

A whirlwind is a magnitude of flight. Wow. Worldy exact. To be exciting is to breathe into caverns. Oh how the external world is not that incredible. Here comes the pretty wasps in skirts. What a view. The frosty gargoyle of insanity rises from the pit of festering socks. Never let it be said that onions are a beach ball of cosmic cloud bursts.plugs and leads can always dance so be very aware of writhings molten chance. Volcanic acidic juices with a tune and beat of a callous but never a wart. And at sharp angles the chance is never to view it is to be real. When the feathery ear lobes of the alligator shine in the half lit night the northern winds will tickle the goblins feet. Many a time does the half spread gherkin fling goblets of sand on the forlorn outcast telephone. Oh quick quick those cubicles are running away. Oh dear. How sad. How abysmal and how tragic. Such are the rays of a multinational company who pessimistically enjoys penalising people globally.. Ration realised ratio radios radioactive read red remained *** hahahaha toothpick swaying *** hahahaha number of swollen tongues in shapes of hexagons xxxx portrayal xxxx oxidization x and now a z.

At Ease, Mind You

Don't weep fountains yet
hold my hand and lean here please -
Let your mind at ease

Pessimistically,
You frown upon my glee smiles
Astonished, so hurt

Don't reap what you sow
Let me do the dirty work -
Let me HIGH your LoW

Silent Fires

And like that, the mind flashed on
The light was slowly dulling and the darkness was winning
Crushed into sooty shadows
Thoughts spewed from the gloom
Glowing so pessimistically dry
As if by Hades the darkness was fulsome

The quiet rendered all but peace within
Stabbing into the skin
The pinprick of realization
The drive for recognition
But the sudden snap of sicklied inspiration
Transformed the atmospheric epiphany
Overwrought yet powerless
Consuming like heartless acid
Eating but disintegrating

People crunched up the words
People averted their eyes from the beginning
Others stayed till the end
Enduring through the rubbish
Then turned their heads away for good
Glad it was all over

And still

Thoughts reveled in and out of negative pores
Glaring in silent fires
Flaring with false light

Unsure
Understood

Always burning
Yearning
