Perspirations Poems | Examples

Premium MemberSummertime

Multicolored paintings of the sun in the dawn,
Romantic restlessness of birds insomniac;
Whispers of gentle breeze with the buds newly born,
Hide and seek of butterflies and dragonflies pack...!

Why talks and smiles and waves of laughter betwixt trees?
Why hullabaloo between bushes and flowers?
Is there a wedding ceremony betwixt bees?
Why there is serene sunshine amidst soft showers...?

Melodious music of stringed instruments heard,
Babbles and ripples of rivers and streams nearby;
Often, dark thick clouds gather in moods so absurd,
Pleading the blessings of the color-changing sky...!

The elegance of the summertime, thus, is sweet,
Midst its perspirations and a bit burning heat...!!!

Appreciated

Caress my face,
You are my place,
To feel adored,
Sensations and perspirations,
Drive our souls near,
I would never tear,
While your time,
Shared mine,
I feel my spine,
Writhe against your fingertips,
I can surrender my hips,
To your touch,
I can savor,
The flavor of your kiss.

Dance of Shame

Let them dance
Men clad in robes of shame
Let them wiggle and mingle
Twist, turn and tingle-
Till they burn in their joyous flame.

We will watch silently
As their perspirations wear them out.
Silently we will watch,
Obey, and light our torch
To see who amongst them survives the bout.

Men intoxicated by the love of power,
Men subdued by vaccine of greed
Waving scabbards of hatred in the air
Feeding the nation with crumbs of fear
Dance; today the drum calls you to your deed.

Let the beat continue its satirical melody.
We can hear the rhythm-
Flowing through the reverie of felony
"Dance, you who stole the key of harmony,
Today's promises tomorrow you will redeem."

Find a gong and a stick
And call the towncrier to duty.
Tell the world about this dance of shame
In a land where treacherous leaders have soiled her name-
And defiled her beauty.
