Scum Buckets
(For a contest)
Can American’s be
As a whole, like a tree
With branches far and wide
That is constantly tapped
Collecting green sap
As in taxes from our thin hide
Out of hard working hands
All over our land
From Eugene to Nantucket
That fill’s Washington’s till
Where they convert it to swill
That’s poured into scum buckets
Where in essence, transpires
Is that cash vampires
Sponging conmen, that do suck it
Corruptly disperse
The blood from our purse
Into their sordid scum buckets
And so that scum goes
To places we appose
Were it spreads like a virus
But why should our pay
Be pissed away
To ruses undesirous
It’s time that they stop
Leeching every drop
Of our personal property
By declaring suck it
To their scum buckets
Which en masse we will empty
And without their scum
There will only be some
Left working in DC
And the rest will survive
Like all people alive
To benefit humanity
Just smile, the expression of your happiness;
It is your personal property, none can snatch;
Smile from your heart express your inner joy.
Whatever has happened, don’t get carried away
Know well these are temporary phases;
whether pleasure or distress nothing is permanent.
Don’t cry for misery, as it is past;
Why to waste time for past events?
Be contented smile, that is present.
Even if you wish to confuse people, just smile;
you don’t have to explain, none is going to peep
in your mind to know reality.
When you fail to act what you wanted to do,
when you wish to speak what you desire to say
camouflage with your beautiful smile.
You smile is God gifted asset.
HE has blessed it for yourself;
Enjoy the moment; be happy, just smile.

Oh lord of stakes,
See how you have fallen;
For you had treaded
Insolently on hapless masses;
Calling a beautiful country your own;
It's people your personal property.
See now how the people
Suffered at your hands;
Visit the graves and witness
The infants and adults
Who died because of strife
And lack of healthcare;
Their lives could have been saved.
You had become a burden sore,
On a peaceful people;
Rendered them paupers of the streets.
Pharaoh drowned with his soldiers;
You drowned on your own,
In a sea of people resolute
To show you their loathe of years on years.
Pharaoh is turning weeping in his grave;
You broke his record of staking
Over people's lives.
Come to think of it,
Not even a tear was dropped over you.
