Robert Mugabe

Oh lord of stakes, See how you have fallen; For you had treaded Insolently on hapless masses; Calling a beautiful country your own; It's people your personal property. See now how the people Suffered at your hands; Visit the graves and witness The infants and adults Who died because of strife And lack of healthcare; Their lives could have been saved. You had become a burden sore, On a peaceful people; Rendered them paupers of the streets. Pharaoh drowned with his soldiers; You drowned on your own, In a sea of people resolute To show you their loathe of years on years. Pharaoh is turning weeping in his grave; You broke his record of staking Over people's lives. Come to think of it, Not even a tear was dropped over you.

Lovely piece on a loathed Mugabe. You may want to read Goodbye Tafara- something I wrote during Murambatsina assault on people's homes.
