Face it, face it, face the beast
Absorb it's emotions, let it flow through
Breathe in abundance and let go now
No use in resisting as it starts of slow
Be truthful and observant with watching eyes
Know the signs and rest with a sigh
Coming full circle now knowing what elapsed
Trust your inner core and let temptation past
The body and mind are not yet complete
This soul is awakening, aligning all within
Answers are simply not black and white
Perplexing is this situation of what is right
Disruption is the ever constant, rattling inside
Solitude in silence allowing an open mind
Now in this moment and being alone
A rock in a river, passing water flows
Know happiness and sadness and tell them apart
Be sure of which emotion is in your heart
Tides have turned and clarity is here
Don't let feelings turn this moment into fear
Glow as the lantern in pitch black
Succumbing to nothing, remaining intact
As much as what you have, what you have is real
Dream for today and tomorrow, blossom in this field.

The River….
Passing water
Through time
Its message
Deliverable
Beyond the millennia
Beyond the confusion
—beyond

Beseech the wooden hip and eye
To paddle off and caper.
Beseech the Maxfold cat and stye
Forlorn with hairy Gator.
Bring not thy chesticle to bear,
Thy open arms to boot.
Beseeching here and everywhere
To hear old Amos flute.
'You can but not cumcumber me!'
He gummed in chitter-chatter,
And passing water from his knee
Knew something was the matter.
Alas! Alak! A Ladybird-
A lullaby in butter.
Beseech in me the rare absurd,
Not sane, not yet a nutter.
