Love is a candle burning at both ends.
We’re staring at colors not yet meant to be framed.
A prototype mixture of vermilion and cerulean,
raised to the power of negative sixteen in transmittance.
Deliverance delayed, waiting in the DLC.
Within the range of projected infamy,
unnamed protocols remain unrendered, once derailed,
absorbed by parameters etched into
the Everlasting Struggle.
The unyielding, plain color of pain.
RED. RED. RED. RED.
I wish I’d never seen you from so far away.
Doppler blue. Roentgen to Gray.
But I was only ten milliseconds astray.
How did phase become so overpowering?
Amaranth-fuchsia is said to delay even faith.
Love, in its highest sincerity,
is a candle that
burns efficiently
at both ends.

Inspired by “Poems and Poets” by Anne Winter
“For once in my life,
I want to be a poem” — Anne Winter
If I were a poem
could my poem be a poet?
If such could be done
who besides me would know it?
If my poem—as a poet—wrote something new
could I as a poem be the other poem too?
Or would I simply exist on a document list
along with other poems that coexist?
(As a poem I would be …)
Living on the edge of poetry forms’ parameters
Running ever changing rapids of trochees and iambs
Line dancing varied rhythms of iambic pentameters
da DUM da DUM da DUM da DUM da DUM ad infinitum
Dancing two-step footles with the poem of my dreams
Braving slalom ski runs of Klein’s Vase Verse
Climbing lofty peaks of Heroic Crown of Crowns
Then doing it all over again in reverse
(I do have a poetic license you know …)
I think of such thoughts from time to time
when my muse is confused and obtuse
Especially when finding it hard to rhyme
my head flooded with thoughts most abstruse
What would it take for me to be a poem
vice versa my poem to be poet?
The very next time my muse starts to roam
I’ll try to find out—don’t you know it!

we know the difference

we have a conscience

and this draws the confines
ultimately of the way we live

Sitting in my favorite place,
A smile upon my face,
I embrace being,
Seeing me in everything,
My eyes are projecting,
Perfecting a design,
I create with my mind,
In the silence I find,
My connection is Divine,
It's time to rise and shine,
This projection is mine,
Its parameters I define,
Within a set of guidelines,
Equations using time,
Situations in conservation,
Energy in constant transformation,
Wind is bringing information,
Using water for the translation,
The Trees Her Civilization,
Our own little nation,
Where I can come and play in,
Sit in meditation,
Embracing my Haven,
This Earth deserves saving.

Throw an arrow, remember to sharpen it before it reaches it's end target
Who is naïve enough to cross your parameters of closeness
Capture this person whose mere sight you adore
Aim at their legs, your prey will land face first on the floor
Don't be scared, Don't you worry
This is how love is meant to be
Or why would cupid, on his smooth back, so many bad intentions carry?
Or why would the heartbreakers or cheaters not worry about their actions
If they didn't know, love is never a synonym to passion, but pain
To confusion and spiraling games
Love was never stable enough to stay after an orgsm
Love, they repeated over and over
Yet it felt like it had just slipped off their tongue
Bind love in ropes of promises, skim apart their soul
Listen to their heartbeat till the gushing of their bloody lies couldn't be ignored
You'll know when the prey gets too weakened, it can't move
Just fall apart into broken shreds of a beautiful story
Piece by piece, Complete the jigsaw pattern
That lasts people eternity, then you can congratulate yourself
You've caught your prey

He stood, somewhat defiantly,
Among the “well” dressed
Frayed pant cuffs
Missing a button on his flannel
Well-worn shoes
Gnarly, veined hands
He would vote today
It is his duty, his privilege
An honor in his mind
To participate
In choosing a leader.
The line moved slowly
Each step narrowing
The parameters of his decision
He had listened to the rhetoric
Shook his head at the venomous accusations
Witnessed a sitting president
Ousted…in a bloodless coup
He worried about his grand kids
Knowing he would not be there for them
Would not be able to help them understand
Damn, he didn’t understand
And yet, he moved with the silent line
Pondering the repercussions
Of a single vote.

Blooming , in night
Thinking twice
About how much you owe me
You owe me a big one
A big kiss and a hug
That has no parameters
Cause I bloom
In your night
In bed tonight
In your dreams
Flowers
For you my love
Essence of you I feel
Every day when I wake up
Beside you
Save me
I'm drowning in reality
You owe me this world
That we created
Don't look back
Just hold my hand baby
We're here with
No breaking bones
We can see
Ourselves in home
How can I even threaten good?
When I'm having you my love
All these flowers I have
As you gave it to me
Can't forget a goodbye kiss
On my forehead that night
So come please....

A red sun rising soon turns gold
So quiet this morning
Nothing new being told
Until the woodpecker's loud warning
Heavenly Father what a beautiful sky
A pale blue blanket cover
Kissed by the sun's golden touch
A stillness, quiet lightly does hovers
A dove awakes the crow
Then a songbird greets the day
There's a mockingbird in the distance
Singing his song while at play
Slowly mankind begins to awaken
As the sun almost touches pines.
Those tops that are high reaching the skyline
Soon the sun will reach its designed define

God intentionally confined the oceans within certain parameters, establishing coastlines and boundaries they cannot surpass (Psalm 104:9; Jeremiah 5:22). Even amidst powerful storms, the seas obey God’s appointed borders. This demonstrates God’s sovereignty and reminds us that the forces of nature ultimately answer to Him.

The most seductive words of love
are whispered in silence...
with the look!
If you are afraid
to seem confused and crazy,
don't love...!
Love does not have
parameters, measure
love cannot be measured
Dying of love
for those who love it seems too much
but living with love is much better
Fighting for love is valid
succumb to him
it's not really worth it
What do we do for love
it's further
of good and evil!
Suffer in the present
for a love from the past
is bringing back erased memories
so simple and so
I love you
r is always wonderful
for those who are not afraid to love

I look into my eyes
I see love
I was created in gods image
One sent from above
I had to learn to see love in me.
I am not perfect
Never would I claim
I strive to take accountability
For my actions
I accept the word blame.
I learned forgiveness
At times people have to forgive me
I learned to search the parameters of my heart
To see the pureness in my soul
I learned how to love others
I learned how to live in a world that can be cold.

I do not mean to hurt your feelings
That is, if you have any, to hurt.
If so I apologize now for any future offenses
As I will be throwing darts at your picture
As I compose this ne’er to be posted “text”
In the event it is used in a future indictment.
It seems that “words” have become the currency
Of a bankrupt language seeking a following
Thus, all “words”, grunts, moans, or gurgling
Are to be considered “protected” “speech”.
Depending on how that speech is interpreted
By the “ear bud” deafened masses.
Ditch the dictionary and thesaurus and
Purchase a new edition “imaginasaurus”
Wherein every word is defined by
what we imagine its meaning to be
and “multiple connected strings of words”
“once classified as sentences”
Will be subject to scrutiny and dissection
By an AI (Arguing Idiots) group.

The eternal equation,
The burdensome question,
Several hours depleted,
The task is still not completed.
The poetry of numbers,
A dread to some,
As they gradually come,
In words and parameters.
The language of everything,
Some regarded it as nothing,
The future rests on its shoulders,
Though often seen as blunders.
The journey into the world of digits,
Fraught with mountains and hills,
Only the resolute mind can turn its wheels,
It’s a world endless in view.
