Have you felt decreased, diminished, disregarded, and devalued?
Have you had a rendezvous with dejection and rejection?
Have you ever been marginalized, minimized,
And unrecognized as you struggled to survive?

In your attempt to stay on 'top of things',
Has someone gone 'low' on you?
Have you ever been overcharged,
Overlooked, or overworked?
In your pursuit of resolutions,
Endless despair seems to fill the air,
And you find dispensers of negativities.

Keep looking, because somewhere out there,
Is a world filled with those who really do care.
And keep listening, if you dare, and you will hear
Timely words of Faith designed with you in mind.

Faith in The Father.
Faith in The Family.
Faith in The Fellowship.
Faith in The Future.
Faith in Friendships.

blatantly passionate
           perfected bodily beauty
           attractiveness overcharged
           a rhapsody of
                               recognition of
             emotion&near ecstasy

reluctant to leave
           overt interest remains
                                  problematic
           yet understood
           innocent impulses
           somewhat erotic

eventually
                asking aloud
                this interest to amuse
                remote&unknowable
to applaud
               perfection of
                                this gentle
                                  kinder existence
perceived as a treasure
              this survival of memories
               the preserved
                    disappointments of
                      an abundant&
                                  vanished arcadia

silence now a pleasure
              a mere panacea
              imbude
                recorded now
                                    with joy

My Friend Within
By Curtis Johnson

Sometimes when I am anxious and restless, He stills me
Sometimes when I am heated and overcharged, He chills me

At times when no one else seem to understand, He feels me
At times when I am hurt and wounded, He heals me

During times when I am out of shape and unprepared, He drills me
During times when I am indifferent and untouchable, He thrills me

Certain times when I am feeling empty and lowly, He refills me
And certain times when I am broken and shattered, He rebuilds me

Retired Sea Master

Retired Sea Master.
Brilliant sun, cold wind from the Atlantic I’m standing outside
the hotel by the car while my wife is arguing with the staff,
apparently we had been overcharged but I had already paid
the bill and they were reluctant to return the money.
I felt guilty too many beers last night, this morning doing
a blood test my hands trembled and I spilt blood on the sheet.
I was standing there wanting a beer, but I was the driving,
it is a long drive, and my wife gets nervous on the motorway.
She came out they had paid her ten Euros to avert a scandal
as a bus full of Danish tourists were pulling up, mostly old
couples. When I asked if they were fleeing Denmark because
of the shooting troubles in Copenhagen I got angry looks,
my joke had fallen flat, and I decided never again
telling a joke unless it was against me, but I’m not funny
just an ordinary man who tries not to drink during the day
and also in the evening when I try work.
So you call this work? Yes, it is I’m telling it just the way it
is not trying to be a hero or someone famous,
just the day in the life of a nobody who used to be listened to
when he was a captain on a cargo ship.

Due Process

There was a rich lawyer of McNaught
Who overcharged his clients a lot.
His bank account soared
As their welfare he ignored.
Now he’s gone to hell in a 40-foot yacht.

Spring Rain For Hindenburg

Spring Rain For Hindenburg

2 Spring fronts had gathered on the East Coast

       Creating an overcharged atmosphere.

Germany to 'Jersey'--3 days at most--
The "Floating Palace" had Max Pruss to steer.
                             804 ft. long! Quite Gigantic!
                                    With 97 passengers and crew,
                                    78 ft. shy of 'Titanic',
16 cells of hydrogen's how she flew.
200 ground crew (soaked) cast mooring line
As 12 hours late, she came in high and game.

The Hindenburg: "Titanic of the sky"...

Took 35 souls as she burst in flame.

Overcharged: Getting Away With Murder - Murderous Thoughts

I decided he had to die,
So held on and swung from his tie.
But the blooming tie ripped,
And my victim just flipped:
I’m banned from his shop; don’t know why…

Mental Magnetism

I'm somehow quite sure
that somewhere, on the way
be it a turpentine, brilliant lit day
or misty and fog eaten sky breath induced
that we've met without words,
without glances or nods
but with my sleeve barely quick brushing by yours
You transferred to me a barrel of emotions
some light like popped bubbles
some wearing molten lead shoes
sunk with black river troubles
carried in even the sleeves of your coat
And I, in my haste, responded in kind
and ran jumper cable straps from my prickly mind
Overcharged something, in some kind of thoughts
and bolted your skin off the moving sidewalk
Somehow, I still think we are connected some way
it's wrapped like a gift in the words you convey
and I'm eating velvet from the weave of your coat
weeping your tears from the things that you wrote
I'm somehow quite sure
that somewhere we'll meet
eyes to still eyes lacking motion complete
In visions worth murmuring while we're asleep
we'll sing with one voice fully captured.
