Office Staff Poems | Examples

Point Less

My secretary just lost her drawers
Ending up on the floor on all fours
She had a good laugh
At the office staff
Who were primed to become paramours!

Premium Member Apple Is Hired

Cherry could hardly contain her excitement.
Her busy brick office staff was hiring another apple today!
Plain sweet chocolate drop asked her if she had heard.
A selfish thought came into head, but she ignored it.
What if this apple was as proud and stuck up as the last one?
That might throw a wrench into her coherent plans.
I hear this kind of apple is rather tasteless, chocolate drop said.
What would she know? She barely had a bubble of experience.
Cherry offered to undertake the teaching of Apple upon his arrival.
He had a great ambiance, and seemed willing to listen to her commands.
She felt they could carry on a casual affair in the future,
Include chocolate drop? Why would they?

Where Has All the Money Gone

Now is the time to ask,
Now is the time for us to know,
Where have the Trillions gone,
That were supposed to right past wrongs,
That were meant to level the playing field,
To make opportunities more equal.

Now is the time to follow the money trail,
To find out if it was well spent,
On programmes that never deliver,
Or deliver just to one or two,
When it was intended for hundreds or even thousands.

It is time to ask why so many services are duplicated,
It is time to ask why the money paid for so many hangers on,
And so many office staff and people with degrees,
Who right up reports that look good on paper.

Now is the time to ask,
Where have the trillions gone,
Now is the time to ask,
Should we give the Money to robots,
Who, may put it to better use.

Blue Face

BLUE FACE

They’re in metro looking at text-phones
My son in bedroom staring at computer
Office staff watching screens of numbers
All aglow
Silent one-way communion
New electronic god to talk to
Church of the blue-faced zombies
