Obstinate Poems

Horizon of Comprehension

A simple misconception,
Can lead to endless argumentation.
Once it started its initiation,
It'll always have a continuation.

The tension escalates,
While the calmness disintegrates.
How can you mitigate?
A situation from someone obstinate.

Everything starts small,
Then out of its area, it'll crawl.
Slowly climbing over the wall,
Leading to the downfall.

You're not someone I hate,
It's not even up for debate.
Your hunger can't be sated,
You'll uproot all, as if excavated.

The more we talk, the less we agree,
A situation everyone wants to flee.
When every point sparks a ghastly decree,
It can burst into a destructive degree.

Understand the concept,
Don't be inept.
Words have different depth;
If unsure, then don't make a step.

Avoid provocation,
Think of the conclusion.
It might destroy the dominion,
That grew from your affection.

Don't make any sudden demand,
Take a moment to understand.
Misunderstanding is like a quicksand;
Just a step and you'll be a part of the land.

You've no choice
What will be will be
So a greedy and cruel person
Strive for the most
Before it's too late
Maybe this is the reason
Why people are careless
Obstinate and cruel
But no matter who decides your future
You ought to be reasonable
Because you love God
Who is the Creator
Because you love the earth
You live on
Because you love your family
Whom you stay with so long
Any consequence is disastrous
Any revenge is cruel

Premium MemberObstinate Self Confident Leaf

He has got obstinate disorder whispered the wind
Too stubborn to change; will not even begin.
His brothers and sisters have changed to yellow and red.
He says he will remain green until the day he is dead.

The forest wind is getting louder, angry now you see.
Wanting the leaf to understand how autumn should be.
He has an individual life plan, share the root of the tree.
He wants to remain green as the bile in his knee.

They accommodated him but tried to coax him to switch colors.
He dropped off in autumn wind with his sisters and brothers.
But he was still a solid green, which was his ultimate goal.
A spring leaf who refused to transmogrify his self-confident soul.

Premium MemberTrixie My Muse Is Obstinate

Winged horses could not get me to do that
She says to me with her nose stuck up.
She can be prissy when she wants to be.

Trixie is in obstinate mode
I try to reason with her
But I am no match
For this particular strand of my imagination

Two seconds later she rides off to the Netherlands
On the back of a white winged horse
I resist giving her a friendly wave
Where do you think she learned obstinance?

Obstinate Passenger

Melancholy visits in waves
It says, "hello" and digs me a grave
A hedonistic society, I partially blame
Why are all their philosophies
exactly the same?
Perhaps if I migrate, the pain
would suddenly cease
But hell's an obstinate passenger
Hell is a disease
My demons dance so ardently
Stepping on each other's toes
It's when the presence of you
Is gone, my demons start to show
I'll feign a smile, mock the faces
of common-folk expressions
To masquerade a morose dread,
a gratuitous depression

Obstinate Nation

why is it that
when a crime is committed
we turn a blind eye but
when we our nation is praised
we grin in satisfaction
illusions of pride
and self admiration blind us
we perceive what we
want to perceive
remaining permanently ignorant
of our harsh reality
Charlatanism reigns supreme
in this land if fore destined destruction
and as our nation plunges
into a dark abyss
a light smothered
in jealousy and hatred gleams
A ray of unity, and hope
the light of our nation's lost pride

The Obstinate Heart

My desolate heart, my obstinate friend
Do not be naïve, please understand
That glittering faces you mustn’t eye
Everything enchanting is not thy

You fret, fry, burn and agonize
Your cravings, wailing and your cries
That incessantly my patience try
Years elapse but do not die

You keep no malice and hatred I know
Your loyalty and fidelity and feeling’s flow
Your kindness, your benevolence is aglow
Your transcendent face your virtues show

Unattainable Stars and moon aspires
One can’t get whatever he desires?
The clouds, the sky and colors of rainbow,
The fragrant roses that beauty bestow.

Peace, tranquillity, serenity and more
All that is lost is knocking at door
Share with others or own and keep.
But to your maladies no one will weep

Take my advice although it’s tough
Love without seeking repayment in love
