Obsesses Poems

Premium MemberSerial

A serial doer of tasks
obsesses until he then asks:
what is it that’s next?
His old muse is vexed;
the former, the latter now masks.

Save You Two

Going back in time to save you two
For almost 10 years is all I've wanted to do
The thought of it possesses my very soul
It obsesses my mind and heart - it's taking a toll
I've heard 2028 is when time travel will be possible
If I get up the money to go - I'll be ing unstoppable
I'm make sure I do my research and get the accurate time and dates
And I'll take back your greatest mistakes
Would you believe me if I said it to you?
Would you believe that I came back to save you two?
Would it disrupt the rift of the universe's effect?
Or could it backfire on me and forever you two I'll forget?
I'm so broken inside - when you two killed yourselves and died - I did too
I can't believe you guys truly did it - it's true
I'll find a way to save both of you
Would you believe me or laugh in my face?
Would you believe me initial reaction in the first place?
Obsessive, compulsive, impatient, and so ing scared
I can't believe suicide you two even dared
I'm mad, enraged, pulsating - irate!
But something tells me it's never too late...

A Losing Game

I do, but I don’t
I can, but I won’t
I feel, but I’m numb
I’m wise, but I’m dumb

I’m here, but not really
I’m ever so silly
It’s the mask that I wear
You won’t catch me bare

An actress, I am
I’m goofy, the “ham”
The quirky and weird one
Who gets out of hand

The one who tests limits
A rebel of sorts
Can’t fit in large groups
Or organized sports

The one who is crying
But then, cold as ice
A stranger to lying
Who yearns to be nice

The one who sees red
And loses her head
And then the black sheep
With no time to speak

The one who addresses
Mistakes she’s made
And then obsesses
Debts can’t be paid

The one who knows shame
And it knows me by name
I won’t overcome
It’s a losing game

What We Will Possess Is Access To the Assesses

What we will possess
access to all assesses
about obsesses

what we have possessed
access to what is assessed
have often abscessed

by a thing passes
ate pancakes with much molasses
now passing gasses

Ahead, Nothing More

Money and wealth
  used to accompany class

Now more often than not,
  it tends toward the crass

There used to be style
that went along with good luck

Now nouveau riche dogma
  just passes the buck

The internet minions
  and rappers galore

Litter our vision
as they buy out our stores

This newest gold standard
  obsesses with bling

Their knowledge in tatters
  they read not a thing

All intention is focused
  on numbers that climb

Like lasers, they pierce
  the mercurial dime

But time marches onward
  for rich and for poor

Looking back, a past wasted
  —ahead nothing more

Life and Daffodil

A lifelong process
That lifelong obsesses
With lifelong failure
Or lifelong success,

As a daffodil
Must fall
Before it is noon
Then nothing can heal.

Premium MemberThe Dark -- Make Their Jaws Drop

Darkness surrounds me, obsesses me now.
I face the devastating power, feeling my strength draining.
I can smell the evil, as my insides roar a warning shot,
But lust for the dark has taken control.

How quickly our resolve can drain away.
Only hours ago I gathered with a congregation
And pledged to flee from this sexy evil I now caress and
Dream of stripping to its most depraved form.

Why is it the dark that so attracts me?
Forces me to break all vows, regret it immediately?
My soul's weary from battles to overcome my destiny.
Damn Weight Watchers!!! I'm eating chocolate!!!

Fretting and Forgetting

Fretting and Forgetting

Are fools the only ones who are forgetting?
And if they are will they first be fretting?
Worrying when things are at their worst
Forgot songs because have not rehearsed.

What song in split second are they singing?
Not enough time for hands to start wringing
And if they were what would they do next?
Probably am assuming becoming perplexed.

Interesting how behavior always progresses
And someone obsesses and later confesses
If you were snoring out a song to be sung,
Will it be done on either bottom or top rung.

Over Her Resume

Over Her Resume'

With others problems would be a big exhibition
But with Hillary would be a smooth transition
Will others will have difficulties they must face
In her mind has a staff permanently in place.

To some other would and did it ever occur
Would House has been a second home to her
And while there all of the things took care
She can ever bring back her old silverware.

Knows absolutely, exactly where everything goes
What we all should do is cross fingers and toes
And you should see resume' that she possess
Others would want and about many obsesses.

The Beauty of Innocence

The Beauty of Innocence
The Innocence of open eyes, not just pretend ,but unaware of any lies,
She opens the world around her as she surprises the obsesses of the prime,
Holding on to the world that she does not even know she owns, until she finds herself in flight,
Too soon she will be gone, the beauty of Innocence shows to all who know,
The last dance to a new song,a last word of perfect poem,
I saw here there, under full moon, her shadow illuminated brighter than a shallow pool
I felt her love ,silently I could not keep my eyes off her,
Just as the flowers I could not pick or the showers I did get wet,
Her memories- even so long ago,I can still see, when I close my eyes,at certain times.

Somewhere Past Surreal

"Our song" obsesses, somewhere past surreal
As a wayward shadow's breeze breaks free
And light enters thoughts, overtakes “without you daze”
Where, everywhere your essence spills
Drops of breaths upon my skin as pianos begin to play

I feel the air of specter’s dance
The ballad's passion luring ghosts from long ago
With bitter sweet melodies of elixir's tears
The drops of, "where did our forevers go?"
And lyrics start to drag me down love’s forgotten roads

A smokey, sultry voice accentuates simple yesteryears
Before, left unsaid words, that made you go away
I fight not to see the sunrise reflecting morning eyes
Your endless smiles, walk again beside
And mend this fragile heart, if only for today

Somewhere past surreal shudders with...
Awakenings by the apparition's shattering kiss
Sending the tides of song receding into a now silent mist
Where the yearning unrestrained, strives to linger on... within the obsessing reminisce

Danger Danger

Wary the man walks alone,
Wary the woman who never stands apart,
Wary the child never says a word,
Wary the leader whose words never stop,
Wary the actor who keeps no regrets,
Wary the fool who regrets all,
Wary the worker who never stays late,
Wary the manager that never goes home,
Wary the girl who never smiles,
Wary the boy whose smile cuts,
Wary the shepherd who cries wolf,
Wary the crowd that doesn't listen,
Wary the world that doesn't care,
Wary the stalker that obsesses,
Wary the carefree with reckless abandon,
Wary the worrier with legal action.
