Who Are The Good Guys?
It’s a simple question and obvious assumption
But the “good guys” are always “us”
And not them.
And yet all around us, all the time
We see people changing sides
Growing up, becoming wiser, or more corrupt
But making a change, a conversion, a choice
To be themselves in new ways, or sometimes
Just their same old ways as others change.
But the assumption that we are always right
Yet in need of more skill in being right
Is what holds us back from something more.
And that something more
Is what awaits when all distinctions
Of us and them dissolve.
The ultimate OBE, not just out-of-body
But out of mind
And so, Samsara as well.
And when we are so delivered, what do we find?
Peace and spaciousness
And the face of the sacred, in everyone we see.

You’ll Never Come Back…
Thrown into an ocean
Deeper and vaster than thought
Carried on waves of sound
Waves of light
Propelled on waves of bliss
Through a portal
That has no name
No place
No time
But here and now
Washed up on a shore
After the storm
Bathed in warmth
Exhausted of all content
Left alone
At the heart of it all
Connected to it all
Without a doubt
Someone whispers
Somewhere
Just beyond sight
“You’ll never come back”
And in an instant
I am thrown into doubt
Back to what!?
To this timeless place
Or what I left behind?
And then in the next
Caught up in those waves
Propelled
Life goes on
Same as it ever was
Forever changed
Forever fresh
Forever

Bring it up.
Shove it down.
Hate, accept, hate, accept, hate again.
This can't be me.
...could it be?
Not fully female, not fully something else.
Slowly changing, never the same.
She/her? I guess that's fine.
They/them? Maybe sometimes.
What is it?
Do I want to know?
When I learn the answer, will it be something impossible?
Something hateful?
Something I could never be?
I guess we'll see.

What changes for you
when God
becomes a synonym for warm
and living
regenerative Earth?
What changes for you
if God the Son
becomes God the SunLight
and Goddess MoonLight
of seasons
creating robust
resonant
resilient
rich nutritionally complex reasons?
What changes for you
as the HolySpirit
becomes our multigenerational egosystems
composing
re-creating
reweaving
a global cooperative EcoSystem
holonic
integral
multicultural
synergetic
intersectionally connected
multi-paradigmatic
polypathic metaphonic?
If you are a polytheistic Buddhist
or Taoist Ecologist,
perhaps you are already Left with Right
bicamerally
bilaterally
binomially compassionately wired this way.
But, if you are western
left hemisphere
male dominant
nonbinary-prejudiced
and/or privileged capitalist
patriarchal
trinitarian violently revolutionary,
not so much ecofeminist spiraling restorative evolutionary,
then you might notice a win/win change,
more freedom,
less win/lose fear
anger
anxiety about alien Other's hate speech,
DemonicOther's over-investment in extracting health resources
from and of and for
with and in and on
wealthy Sacred Earth.
