While drudging impresses to cease,
Within the ethereal forbearance of night
And the cosmic vast space is stormless,
From the hour of darkness until daylight,
        And anxiousness is ultimately formless
Imbrication is referred to as "Peace."

Imbroglio, languor, and hidden disarray
This parade of nimble cued is wordless
This will never genuinely be worthless,
       This is increasing beyond nerveless
       This spinning wheel is reverseless,
The periphery of the panacea display.

a plum, a peach, a song, a beach
  a bend, a curvy straightaway
a bob, a dip, a dunk, a screech
a hair-breadth turn took your future away

you nerveless nock, how dare you rock
  this sanctimonious cerebrum with poppycock
it behooves you to hoof it to Timbuktu ~
haunting howls from the bowels of Montezu

Nerveless Neil

A man from Ohio called Neil *
Was known for his calm nerves of steel.
So when, out in space,
Darth Vader gave chase,
He said 'Cool it, guys,no big deal!'

18.07.19

* Neil Armstrong was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio and was renowned for keeping cool under pressure.
* Darth Vader for non Star Wars fans is an iconic villain

Hilary Billary Shmock
The lady is purebred shlock

She 'Bill-ked' the Nation
Via Libyan abdication

Hilary Billary Thwock
Her tongue's a nerveless nock

She squawks and squawks
Paranoid deplorables-crock

Hilary Billary Shlock
Give her the old hemlock!

Scar Tissue

The bed offers cold
where you used to lie
a chill that lingers
when dawn paints the sky.
Your abandoned chair
across from mine
is a constant reproach
and an unwelcome sign
of a love that died.

On outings with friends
I feel their pity
though I wear my best mask
and try to be witty.
The places I visit
are different and yet
something always reminds me
won’t let me forget
the love that died.

Time has its way with all wounds
I've discovered
granting healing to some
letting Death cure the others.
And with every new wound
the scar tissue spreads,
fibrous and nerveless,
‘til sensation is dead.
And it’s hard to say
if I fear this or not
maybe this ether
is what I have sought
all along.

Premium MemberFunctional Psychopaths

There are “functional psychopaths” among us,
different from their murderous counterparts
who use their detached, unflinching and charismatic personalities
to succeed in mainstream society,
and in some fields of work most shockingly
the more psychopathic individuals are more likely to succeed.
We all possess psychopathic tendencies.
It's a scale along which we all sit within varying degrees.
The brilliant neurosurgeon who lacks empathy
has more in common with a Ted Bundy than we'd like to believe,
and that mugger in the parking lot lit very dimly
may well in fact have the same nerveless poise as a titan of industry.
Society as a whole is more psychopathic than it could ever be.
Fearless, confident, charming, ruthless, and focused are all qualities
that are tailor-made for success in the twenty-first century,
and all of the above mentioned qualities
are very dominant in every psychopath's personality.
It is our much maligned dark side that often reveals
the trump cards of success functional psychopaths conceal.

Never Seen You

I have never seen you. I have never touched you; nevertheless, I have only heard your voice. So how and why does my heart feel so close to you? When I have never seen nor touched you, or have you never in braced me close to you; I know the night when you touch me my heart will come alive. And all my hurt I have held so tight inside will be drifted away like the tide that goes out in to the blue sea, I will never know if my heart will ever feel the love that it longs to have until you embrace me in to your arms. In addition, when you make that passion love to me, your lips will fit so perfect on to mine! You will look to have no pain and never less you will tell me you need me, I will tell you I want you, and you are the one I have longed to have and to hold close to me. I have asked God to send me that perfect man nerveless God had told me there is no perfect man but he does have a wonderful caring loving man he can send my way. Moreover, when he finds me it will be that unconditional love” that you and he had longed for, for so long.

Prisoner

Forever complacent
Just too content
What was I meant?
To prevent,
A climatic moment
The space of the second
Skin isn’t mine
It chokes and slithers
The enemy
The shadows that hover
I’m accustom the this
Never ending
Nothingness
I've come to expect
Some kind of assurance
To keep my attention
Not try my patience
With constant disturbance
That leaves nerveless
The walls I made
Makes a good cage
