The daddy was lying on the couch again
Spending all of his hours after work doing nothing
Wifey dear was cleaning, cooking, and doing laundry
What she always does after an eight-hour day of office stuff
The daughter saw, and realized women must be the worker bees
Men get to lie around and do nothing; she felt angry and resentful
Their son saw too, but he did not pick up the socially- weird cues
He began to help his mother – doing laundry, and cooking supper
Daddy never noticed that his wife or son were doing anything
He was zoned in on a TV screen, watching one pattern after another
Not really seeing any of it, just trying to keep out of their way
The daughter resolved never to get married, thanks to this revelation.
She never did, and she never cleaned either.
Her house was a kind of a hoarder’s house,
Daddy refused to come visit, but her mother and brother did.
They usually brought cleaning supplies, which made her laugh.

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall
all be changed--In a moment in the twinkling of an eye. For our
For our Lord, Himself shall descend from heaven with a mighty
shout, with the voice of an arch angel and the last trumpet of God.
And the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we who are alive
and remain, shall all be changed. And be caught up together
in the sky and so we shall always be the our Lord Jesus Christ.
For our corruptible bodies must be changed to incorruptible ones and
our mortal bodies must put on their immortal ones. "For flesh and blood
cannot inherit the kingdom of God in heaven for during the seven year's
tribulation on earth." His saints shall be safeguarded and protected there.

28) "Am I a God near at hand," says the LORD, "And not a God far off?" Can anyone
hide himself in secret places, So that I shall not see him," Says the LORD; "Do I
not fill the heaven and the earth?" Says the LORD. Jeremiah 23:23-24
29) "My covenant was with him, one of life and peace, And I gave them to him that
he might fear Me; So he feared Me, and was reverent before My name. The
law of the truth was in his mouth, And injustice was not found on his lips. He
walked before Me in peace and equity, And turned many away from inequity.
For the lips of a priest should seek the law from his mouth; and he is the
messenger of the LORD of hosts. Malachi 2:5-7
to be continued latter on.

the dream therapist put out his shingle
for a mere sixty dollars he will interpret your dream
If you dream of a turtle, it means life is slowing down
If you dream of a fish, you are trying to be free and encumbered
an oak tree in your dream can mean a variety of things
It might mean you are the oak in your family
or it could mean you admire the oak in your family
I read the brochure and thought I would have a go.
He looked like a normal man.
I offered him the sixty dollars up front.
We can take care of that later, he told me.
It is actually $67.98 with tax.
I would have to use a credit card.
Tell me about your dream, the therapist said.
I was cozy in an orange chair.
I told him that I never dream.
He argued this with me.
I left without paying him sixty dollars
or sixty seven dollars and ninety-eight cents.
I think we were both disappointed.

I could not wait to be thirteen
Mom said I could have a pair of heels
I had pictured six inch high heels
She mean a teensy one inch heel
Still it was something to look forward to
Thirteen! A teenager! I was excited about it.
Ten had not done it for me.
Double digits is not like saying "I am a teenager!"
I had already started my period.
so I did not have that to look forward to
unless you count every month
when I really did not look forward to that mess
our school started dances when I was thirteen
I was thrilled to go to my first homecoming dance
I was wearing a yellow sweater and a plaid skirt
I felt grown up and loved the one inch heels.

I ate normally, and my homework was already done,
In the morning, not really reminding myself: There are feelings expressed, undone.
I ate normally, and my homework was already done,
During the lesson, I caught myself, realizing I was incredibly enjoying the moment, I didn't want the impact only upon.
I ate normally, and my homework was done,
I looked left and right to find him standing alone, as there hadn't been a lot of failed attempts—how fun.
I ate normally, and my homework was done,
I stood in the hallway and talked with him. He said: "I am so proud of you for telling me that, but I am sorry, I don't love you, but I appreciate you. I had a feeling, but I wasn't sure if you really did. Now we can't hurt each other by not being aware. I will respect you; one day your feelings can't be undone."
I ate normally, and my homework was done,
"Doesn't he like me because..." disappeared because he said: "You are a very good person. It's not your fault; I'm just not attracted to you that way. Go ahead and shine like the sun!"
I ate normally, and my homework was done,
and my love finally gone.

The abandoned Mansion was once owned by the Adams Family.
They were doing a terrific business in their lumberyard at the time.
Day laborers who were not busy were sent over to build their home.
It was gorgeous in its heyday, lovelier than anything else on the block.
There were other ritzy mansions, said my auntie, just not this ritzy.
We stared at the old abandoned Mansion; she looked sad.
Her grass had no roses or lilies, her concrete flower pots were broken.
What a shame, I said. Can we get closer? I want to take a better look.
You cannot go inside, Auntie said, but I think we can peek into windows.
I jumped back and screamed when I reached the window.
There is someone in there! She put her hand out and touched mine.
Two of my little cousins began shrieking in terror.
She made that up, Auntie said. She was trying to scare you.
I know what I had seen, and I was not making anything up.
I never went back, but sometimes I drive by and cringe.
That house is not abandoned.

I fix the best chili I can
But my family has to doctor it up
One of my daughter adds cinnamon
Something she learned
When grandma accidentally used it
Instead of chili powder
My son has to dump a pound of cheese on the top
My husband motions for him to hand the rest of the cheese over.
The little one whines that he does not like chili
Unless we have potato chips, which he uses instead of crackers.
I fish a tiny baggie of chips out of the laundry room.
I had been hiding it from his siblings.
I cannot complain because at this moment
I am tearing up sixteen jalapenos to go into my own chili.
If I put them into the big pot no one else would eat.
How we got this way is anyone’s guess.
“Do we have any cottage cheese?” My other son asks.
Apparently when he ate at Johnny’s house they put that into their chili.

If I am in a crazy mood
I play Max the axe
Max has red hair and a beard
You get to be him
Enemies come at you and you axe them away
At first it is really fun, because you are winning
Got two, got six, got eight.
There is a sense of power, you get excited.
There are bad guys that look like blobs.
If they get you, you evaporate with a sizzle sound.
As you get better and better, you get more and more of them.
But the closer to the end, the more bad guys come out.
Pretty soon your heart is beating so hard
You think your chest will explode.
They always get you,
but I play for the frenzy feelings in my heart.

Why don’t you stay home and play? The dog asked.
I explained the correlation between working and money.
You cannot eat money! Said the cat.
No, but money buys your kibble, I said.
The cat stuck out her tongue.
I don’t need food! Said the dog.
I need you to stay home and pet me.
I need to be part of the family.
We do not need you working.
I want her to work said the cat.
The dog was surprised.
I saw it in his eyes.
Why? Asked the dog.
She just stuck out her tongue at me said the cat.
So the cat is an interrupter and a liar.
Who knew?

I will be very pleasure,
if a world is without war,
Globe has faced two world wars,
resulted in loss of vegetation,
Swiss stayed out of world wars,
Still it has stunning landscapes, I wish to see the world as it is, to enjoy global flora and fauna, You will be surprised to know, the world military expenditure, it is above 2000 billion dollars, And it shattered world economy ,
Bombs scared landscapes,
And tanks flattened mountains, Save our green planet please ,
for the future generations.

Fey leaf cloaks are being created by faerie artisans in the midst of the veil
Maple tree is smiling, recognizing many of the offerings from his own limbs
Sycamore takes credit for a few, as does elm, but fir tree is silent
Thinking his offerings are not good enough, is something wrong with him?
It is not you, he is reassured by robin, you are my salvation in the winter.
The other trees offer me no coverage whatsoever, I count on you.
This cheers him up considerably, as he watches the witches’ movements.
They parade through the forest in their ethereal finery of tangerines and browns

She is a Merida in real life, he told his mother.
She had no idea what that was, so she watched Disney’s movie Brave.
The heroine had a few flaws, but she was spunky and fun-loving.
In the end she did the right thing, and she was super confident.
His mother did not know if she could open her house to a woman like that.
Did not think she had the self-confidence to sustain her as a daughter-in-law.
“I am your daughter now,” Merida told her the second she met her.
They became close, and the mother was charmed and excited.
Merida built her up as she had never been built before.
Her son and Merida split up, but Mom retained a relationship with this dynamo.
Loving Merida as a daughter until the end of her life.

Navajo legend explains that four lights were not enough for the people.
They wanted more, so first woman asked fire man for help with a fifth light.
She dressed in traditional coral and turquoise clothing, to please the gods.
Fire man offered first woman the sun, which flickered most of the day.
He had fallen in love with her, but could not leave his campfire.
She visited him at night, but was not allowed to look into his fire.
So with her back to him, she spoke of lovely things, and told him stories.
It was more than enough, they were friends until the end of their days.

Their daughter was not nice
She was a mean girl
They had mis-parented her
By allowing her to be in charge
It was too much for her
She was spoiled, disappointed and angry.
She growled and snarled at them
They were the enemy – her parents.
So they built a robot.
This daughter will be perfect they said.
But they spoiled their daughter robot too
She poisoned their food
