Conflicting Beliefs

We never engaged in the pleasure of love-making,
they banned us from giving embraces and kisses:
how belief shaped the naiveness of our minds...
making us fear and keep us from sweet giving!

We longed to tremble, giving a passionate kiss,
we looked around and we saw stern, watchful eyes;
sweetness slipped out of thoughts, turning to bitterness...
they controlled us to impose the strict rules of obstinance!

We never dreamed of ecstasy, always showing a longing
for becoming one soul anchored by nightly loud moans;
we were deprived of sexual thoughts, never drifting
and feeling free from glances: religion bans and kills!

We were lonelier than children reading bed-time stories,
not frolicking romance to incite desire and awareness;
we missed on our youth for their concept of shining grace:
wasn't sex created by God to increase the Human race?

The Recantation of Foolishness

Before I became a worrier, a rebel, a Spartacus:
I remember listening to an orator on a city bus:
he criticized and enraged some arrogant characters;
he shouted harsh words to the deceiving charlatans,
exposing themselves as hallowed saints in a niche,
when they should have been thrown into a ditch!

Before I attempted to please others,
I realized how naive I was to offer praises:
I had one God to serve, not several gods
who took the appearance of pure divinity;
they had a shining halo over their heads...
ensuing much fear, accusing me of inequity!

Before I had a childish and overt personality,
I trusted anyone and laughed with anybody...
until their derision filled me up with anger;
I broke my connection, realizing it wasn't fair!

Before I diverged from the wrong and dangerous path,
I didn't recognize my naiveness, neither I felt bad vibes;
I helplessly fell into a deep ravine full of vicious vipers:
what spared me death was the laughter of Lady Macbeth!

Unleashed

I'm not going to whisper
I will speak my mind.
I will follow my intuition
Abandon judgements
ignore unkind.
Allow my car to steer
me in the right direction.
even when I do not have
a destination.
I am 30 and full of unique
knowledge mixed with naiveness.
I met a man, my heart did fall
I danced without my watch.
I sang without volume control
I walked never looking down.
I looked life straight in the eyes
never bowing down or retreating.
I fought my battles with no hesitation
I rarely apologized.
I had a heart with more love than it could contain.

Let the Life Roll

Let the life roll;
uphill or downhill;
never frown;
Let the life roll;
in altruism of a friend;
in blessings of divine;
in caricature of fun;
in divinity of oneness;
in elation of an opulence;
in fathoms of wisdom;
in giggles of an innocent heart;
in harbingers of a peace;
in an innocence of a child;
in jubilation's of being a human;
in kinship of humanity;
in lavishness of thoughts;
in maelstrom of possibilities;
in naiveness of a traveller;
in a ocean of forgiveness;
in peacefulness of an ocean;
in the quest of a wanderer;
in restlessness of a dreamer;
in serendipity of events;
in tranquility of a mother;
in unification of souls;
in virtuosity of nature;
in waning of boundaries;
in xylophone of love;
in yielding of sorrows;
in a zeal to live;
Let the life roll;
uphill or downhill;
never frown :)

Suppressing Truth

Significance is signalized by interest
Unfounded truths can damage sworn loyalty
People seem friends, but act like wolves
Praising their false deeds instead of the true ones
Rotten inside, twisting words that are so convincing
Eliminating the evidence of extraordinary things
Shimming, as demons enter their malicious souls
Shoving aside what's good, holy and blessed
In impetous haste, they suppress every truth
Naiveness is not found in their impious character
Glory they demand, but nothing they are willing to give
Tarot reading must be accurate, or curses will follow
Ruling with deception, they reduce others to poverty
Uluate they won't, to conceal their obvious unhumaness
Tyrants shake their hands and promise them prominent positions
Horace himself would have despised these impudent, unethical folks

Not Into Politics

There's a logical reason
why I'm not into politics...
I've seen much corruption
in elected politicians, who have stolen
from the state treasure without conscience.

And many live in mansions;
drive foreign luxurious cars...
take extended vacations,
and drink the best champagnes.

We, the common people, observe them
and continuously wonder where those things came from,
but naiveness is confused with the plausible thought...
that they have honestly earned or inherited them.

Many have made the national and international headlines,
hiding shameful faces that will confront dire consequences;
don't pity them, remember our laws are fair and strong...
even a President will be hold accountable for any wrondoing!

Some are filthy rich, and desire more,
and what's our wish? To pay less taxes as they do indeed!
Hating them may cause bitter feelings, enough to expose their greed.
Have faith that things will soon get better,
elect a politician who has ethic values and with dignity opens your door.
