Myeloma Poems | Examples

Multiple Myeloma

There was no NUANCE in the illness,
Once it took hold, it spread quickly;
The ATTEST taken was clear as glass,
Once diagnosed the results were sickly.

The BARREN truth was overwhelming,
The TEMERITY she showed was unbelievable;
In truth, I was more panicky than she was,
Yet the consultant said a cure was conceivable.

The APERTURE which struck my heart was great,
She was not only my wife but a true friend;
It was painful to hear of her unexpected illness,
With this dramatic SAGA, I hoped for my end.

My PROCLIVITY was that of sustained sorrow,
By the cause of cancer to the bone-MARROW.

Sweet Soul Surrender

Sweet Soul Surrender

She gazed beyond the windowsill where her oblivion stood an idol still
Sweet surrender her soul to spill tired trying to escape her innermost ill
Breath by breath amidst many a pill a calamitous climb on hindering hill
She didn’t move there was no thrill a scowling silence of a chanting chill

She never met glamour or fame only famine and fear the war to blame
Hardly walked with any shame a mother and grandmother she became
An Angelic soul a burning flame such beauty and kindness in her name
With gorgeous gardens she did tame a garden queen they did proclaim

The skies turned grey within the hour followed by a saddened shower
She stood her ground a tiny tower a fragile body like a fragile flower
The seeds of hope stained and sour she gave it all within her power
In her descent a dormant dour dramatic duplicitous death did devour.

Forever Fragile Flower

Lay softly still my forever fragile flower
For the wind will swiftly surely come
And sway you back and forth on the hour
Before the coming calming summer sun

Your bashful beauty beguilingly beckons
Within the subtle skies of bathing blue
For one day you’ll be gone in seconds
And that is the day I shall miss you

Your petals perched like a quixotic queen
Your saintly strength shining through
Your pain pours down the evergreen
Your sacred selfless smile bids adieu

Gently blooming in heavens diamond dome
Where birds and butterflies romantically roam.

A Road Called Miracle

I travel down this difficult road,
Carring this heavy load.

Life's journey I once roamed,
Until I married and made a home,

I travel down this road,
Filled with lesions all over my bones.

Life's taken my body from it's original form,
And now I constantly moan.

I will race down this road,
Until I touch my Lord'said robe.

Life's trials my God has directed,
Now I'm on this road called Miracle.

Words

Words we didn't want to hear,
that would bring us so much fear...

Words we didn't understand,
that would bring us so many tears...

Words that would cause us so much pain,
and cause us to fall in love again...

Words that would test our love,
and cause us our faith to maintain...

Words that are devastating are Multiple Myeloma,
Hear our pleas Lord and send us a miracle,
Heal my husband Lord and his life sustain...

Words were sent from up above,
a reply to many prayers and pleas,
Lord ease this strain...

Words our Lord sent to us,
I will watch you from up above,
and make your bones strong once again...

Words we pray to our Lord,
Bless all those we love and all who prayed,
come into their hearts and homes and there remain...

Words we pray to our Lord,
thank you my Lord for this miracle,
we pray for faith to all in pain...
