'Tis of Thee Canada
For my country, proudly I wave the flag,
surround by great oceans north, east and west;
lucky to be born in Canada- blessed,
have lots of things famous for that we brag.
Like the awesome Mounties in their red dressed,
for my country, proudly I wave the flag;
of green wilderness on and on we drag,
oh, with eh and sorry- I am obsessed.
And sweet maple trees, maple leaves and moose,
come fishing here and put fish in your bag;
for my country, proudly I wave the flag;
sorry for Canada Geese flying loose.
Of our diversity I will brag,
eh, love poutine- and the changing seasons;
ice, snow, beaver, hockey, beer more reasons,
for my country, proudly I wave the flag.

Up there in the "Great White North"
All people across the land come forth
It's time to celebrate our nation's holiday
Known upon this day as "Canada Day"
Gather all your families, relatives, and friends
Join along with the rest of your fellow Canadians
Spanning all across the land's riches and beauties
Through its majestic and breathtaking places
From the nation's capital of Ottawa
To the diverse city of Toronto
Over the country lifestyles of Calgary
And the traditional French side of Montreal
Disciplined Royal Canadian Mounties and Armed Forces
Well-remembered Canadian Historical Legends
All of them along with you... who are proud to be Canadian
Beautiful floral gardens and splendid mixed forests
Enjoyable winter sports and popular hockey games
How one celebrate this historical holiday?
Only your true heart can determine this
Beginning the day with picnics and beaches
And by finishing with a night of spectacular fireworks
Show your precious colours of the Red and White
The Maple Leaf - one shall always honour
Singing with all our hearts as the flag waves up high
"O' Canada" - our anthem from our glowing hearts

< once popped cork on bottle of red wine
hit brother in eye oh how it did shine
seen him go pick up bat
boy did I ever scat
right to canadian's boarder line
feeling like her dansel in-distress
along came three county mounties best
asked if nipping bottle
at fast paces throttle
answered yes now did I pass your test
tossed in pokie for now twenty days
poor ole missy now won't and get laid
darn brother wins again
wearing smitten hugh grin
wait until that welt begins to fade

I looked all over,
In the closet,
In the shed,
Under my body pillow,
In my head....
Vanished like a puff of smoke,
Makes you wonder if
You just awoke....
And the Twilight Zone
Was where you dreamed
Maybe she skipped town,
Cause of an overdue loan?
She lives in Maine,
Maybe she got too close
To Steven King's ghost
And away she was spirited,
To be the host,
Of a new Poetry site...
The thought's a fright!
Let's send out the Mounties...
Maine's near Canada Dry, no?
Probably lots'a counties,
And she'd know,
Where to hide,
To keep us guessin'
Or maybe with our brains,
She's messin'
Nah, she's not cruel,
In fact, she's pretty damn cool!
So get back on the stove, Ms. Rube,
The Soup's boiling,
You're like a Rubik's Cube,
Impossible to figure,
Like a musician
With one too many a "doob'"
We'll wait faithfully,
Candle in the "Windows"
Hoping our jewel comes back,
As quickly as she goes.
