MOONDUST PASSION
I walked my life on the garden path so long,
making the mind exult in the acquired hue
until a storm came untimely blowing strong,
losing flowers in the chasm I could only rue.
As the cloud clumps clear at the fall of night
I rise from the strewn debris of the fallen sky.
The opulence of your grace captures my sight,
my dormant desire to reach you soars high.
Your silken face turns into sliver of silver moon,
spreads cerulean charm, adorns the firmament.
I see the dream to hold you, make you my own
as I sink in the mystic moondust passion ardent.
Since to me comes your image as an astral boon,
forming intense impetus that your vicarious glow
entices a dwarf to try and touch the distant moon,
you won’t make a mockery of my effort, I know.

Violence lingers in your eyes.
No wonder you can't sleep,
Soundly through the night.
Not will all the waste still floating in the sky.
A deadly chemical, when ignited.
A Super Nova on steroids.
Explosive and temperamental.
Don't get too excited,
Or you'll turn into a deadly weapon.
Still fixated on the darkest of nights.
Forgetting is easier said than done.
There's a flicker of light behind your eyes.
Let it burn bright.
Don't hold back,
The passion that thrives.

"Draped in Moondust"
fragrant flowers fade
'neath starry moonlight
was love as fragile?

Dancing moondust flies
in a golden sky
a full moon enchants
by a campfire light
night sparks lover's high
in a sleeping
bag made for two
moonlight gently
serenades souls
whispering
winds enhance
romance shared
sparkling
light shines
bright
Stars
twinkle
across
lover's sky
tempting flames
in their eyes
moonlit shimmer
captivates night
as glowing fire
ignites passion
warmth of skin-on-skin
chases chilly air
while moondust dances
on wings of desire
highlighted in gold

I followed a trail
At last light
Of moondust
Until I found you
Glowing softly
In my night
A silver thread
To find
Of moondust
That you left for me
In my night
When the sun, set
In pinks and reds
A moon rose
So did you
In my night
The softest light
Of moondust
Carried my heart
So very far
In my night
I held you
In my hands
With a gentle kiss
I let go the moon
In my night
A rising moon
Of palest silver
Of soft light
I thought of you
In my night
Silvery streams
Of moondust
Took me to you
In my dreams
In my night
