Lahore

Historian writes that after the mongols left lahore khokhar and gabru plundered the rest of the city.
Couplet
Wo tab bhi loot maar kartay thay aur ab bhi kartay hain
     Na yasir shami kuch bolta hai na Iqrar-ul-Hassan.

Incarnation

I have been here, the touch of the rose petals under my feet...The drink of lotus wine, adorned in white lien and gold... Behind the veils , in the temples of Abydos ... The scenes replay.... Flicking like wish candles in the whirling winds.. Scents of Myrrh ascend, as the priestess chants, spells of love... Amazons rides the waves of sand....

I have been here, welding the sword on the battlefield of Mongols ... Under the thunderous hooves horses, salty blood flowed, in glory and valor of, Genghis Khan..

I have been here, crystalline Kama Sutra, frozen in time.. The of dance of creation.. The Tantric courtesan spreads her sensuous legs, in service to the Ruby Maharaja....

I have been here, young crippled boy, holding the banner of atonement.. As he limps in procession of saffron cloaked Buddhist monks...

 I have been here, full circle.. Cleansing the lives ,the field ,the heart, in the truest core of being.. The Web ebbs and flows... Earth Bound again, the cycle of life continues...

Great Wall

Once upon a time Great Wall of China was created
But there are conflicting stories about how it was generated
It is known it was to be defense against Mongols Chinese dreaded
Created by stones that unto barrows were loaded

But the myth different story telling us is
The story that history would dismiss
That great dragon flew from aerial abyss
With supernatural presence, glowing eyes and fearsome hiss

The dragons’ serpentine body turned into the wall
I would add to that that in doing so dragon swallowed his own soul
Giving understanding to greatest continuity that of the soul
Right before it turned into the Great Wall

That is why the wall might be a magical place
Seen even form the orbit in space
It is dragons awe inspiring countenance
But day there is no more war he will fly back to celestial place

That day when dragons spirit will be free
There will be justice in this recipe
Yet none of the nations at war will be
Hopefully it is also Earth’s destiny

For if it’s not before long
We destroy our world and our song
Will be as empty as vacuum that between stars would belong
And by glory of dragons’ soul this would just be wrong

Premium MemberChina the Red Plague

Earth, water, fire, metal, and sky...
pummeled to submission.
Refuse and decay, side by side,
ground into submission.

Once pristine mountains ranged high;
Mongols in ascension
riding beneath the starry skies,
now, whipped into submission.

Wild rivers now hemmed, tortured, bound;
green trees, now sickened, brown;
all bare, and skeletal, background;
beneath soot filled skies, fouled.

All the grandeur now gone sighs
ground into submission.
for Mao’s legacy cry,
no course but submission.

Earth, water, metal, sky...
pummeled into submission.
Decay, refuse, side by side,
ground into submission.

Once pristine mountains ranged high;
while wild horses went flying by
ridden by Mongols 'neath starry skies
now, whipped into submission.

Rivers hemmed, tortured, bound;
green trees, now sickened, brown;
bare, skeletal, barren dry;
cringing 'neath soot filled skies....

All the grandeur now cries
ground into submission.
