Arid eyes
burn in the Mohave heat
where Camels
eat and smoke
dehydrated Frosted Flakes
with mold
and disease on them . . .
preserving
this mirage of life.

Her love is sometimes hard to explain
Type of love that strives to treat everyone the same
Her love is there no matter the problem
Doing whatever it takes to solve them
Her love will allow her mohave a lot of sleepless nights
Wondering if everything for the family is alright
Her love is keeping the family bond strong
Encouraging you to hold on
Her love is saying no sometimes as well as yes
Realizing all she wants is what's best
Her love is wearing hats of many colors
Trying to satisfy the needs of others
Her love is falling on her knees to pray
Knowing that God can and will make a way

Mohave Valley Raceway is the place to be.
Lots of awesome people and races to see.
And should you happen to have a date come Sat. night.
Bring them to the races - it really is all right.
Drivers come from all over - even out of town.
To make it here on time, before the flag goes down.
We have drivers of various ages, courageous, loving, and bold.
Around camp fires and dinner tables their adventures are often told.
Racers are unique - a very special breed.
They'll dash to your side, when you have a need.
It's an adrenaline rush - the thrill of the chase.
A friendly competition to see who'll win the race.
You don't know what you're missing - not being at the track.
We have fantastic beverages and many a delicious snack.
So come one - come all and join us in the fun.
And cheer your friends to victory when races they have won.
Addendum: This is a real racetrack in Mohave Valley Arizona - they race every other Sat. 6 mos. out of the year with a Summer and Winter Break. I had the pleasure of being there for approximately 3 years. I have since moved to another state - but if you ever get to that part of Arizona be sure to check them out.

Paramour august never longer
Till days shall pass
Will I be among torment unto fervor
Or in acceptance
Of the yearning, thy touch to have
But, in days absent sojourn
I shall sheath myself
Amid the arid
Of the desert’s spirit burning
Counting blessings He has left
And, within the Santa Anna winds
Are they
From off of austral shores
Tales in warmth that ferry
Oh, my maiden aurorae from afar
Your essence seizes upon
The Sierra whispers which carry
To whelming rumors crossing, Mohave floors
And an envisage dances in whirlwind
Softly humming, the nightress tune of thy return
Evermore
