Zindagi Jeena Sikha Rahi Thi

Mene kal ek jhalak zindagi ko dekha,
Woh meri raha mein gunguna rahi thi...

Dhundha usse idher udher,
Woh aankh micholi kar muskara rahi thi...

Ek aarse k baad aaya mujhe karaar,
Woh sehla k mujhe sula rahi thi...

Hum dono kyu khafa hai ek dusre se ,
Mein usse aur woh mujhe bata rahi thi...

Mene Puch liya "tune mujhe ye Dard kyun diya"
Usne pyaar se kaha
"Zindagi Hoon mein paglae ....mein toh bas Tujhe Jina Sikha rahi thi...!!!

Real Hospital

you do not have the right to be angry
no not at all
thats not ok
just not ok with me

dog love!
I shout

with a bittenhand
what train departs that time again!?

I love you is not a station in the past
where I return you easily
to the biting dog that is waiting for me

or the leftover veggies from that
staple sandwhich

The kind nurses say each color on the wire
go to the same color in the little box
this box is attached to my heart

it ties me to bed
each wire has a square and a not so square

"easy to pull out" I cry
now I can escape to potty

the machine makes noises and other brighter colors
yes and your finger makes 9 more beeps

I am free, almost
and feel as smart as a doctor or a nurse

putting them back together
by myself again
it squeezes my arm tight with pride

Drawing a trusty drill into
What is my hand doing?

as I pound into the mene
holding the ingredients to
the staple sandwhich I cannot have

Halat

Kya batau kese batau
Ki kya mushkile he
Bas itna samajhlo tum
Ki mustakbil gardish me he

Mene saha kese saha
Ki kya halat the wo
Bas tum itna Jaan lo
Ki Jung ab tabish se he

Me jeeyu ese jeeyu
Ki kya majbooriyan thi
Tumko bas itna ilm ho
Taare mere jumbish me he

Me kahu jese kahu
Ki kya me tujhe batalau
sun le tu khajaalat se
ki me ab khalish me hu

Me Badnaseeb

Mene jab-jab dekha andhera dikha
Khwab bhi mele the dhuan dikha
Mene zindagi ko jeene ki koshish ki
Jeene ka maksad bhi maut me mila

End Time Message

At this omega of ill-fetted volitions
where the concrete-embeded poster reads "EXIT"
you watch with amusement the logical end
of ideological perversion
bemused by the grunts of kings vommitted by history
a history of misery

In this, my date with fate
as an inspired spectator i ignore the values a society disguise itself in
and read the writings on the wall
about disjointed limps and fractured souls
about abused women and misused slogans
about useless ballots and useful bullets
about persecuted students and deffered freedom
about the death of peace
and as such our long awaited kiss
on the lips of the King's corpse.

By the concrete poster
the wretched stands awestruck
waving their broken limps,
thus penning the last line in this history of what never happened.
the writing is on the wall
"mene mene tekela upasini"
umambo hwako hwapera

I Sewed Together

In the mist nobody writes out
by hand like signs.
But you are walking along some roads
with the thought which knows
only and solely itself.
And the loneliness lifts a mountain.
And our bodies are too heavy to us.
How nobody flings open his arms
till the end – for an embrace
and again at the end he dies – crucified.
And like signs somebody has written out
in fire:
“Mene, Mene, Tekel u-Pharsin”
The born of dust - weighted out
and separated.

I sewed together a sackcloth* of my skin,
to be at ease.

*Jews and other nations used to wear sackcloth around their waists at the time of misery,
penance and sorrow.
