AFTER I finish my statement
as confessed I, my fear:
if you should ever leave me
i know we love each other very dearly
,more
than tears from clouds and how they
need sunbeams and then they make
Mayflowers in Spring
my breath of gentle touch
how the heavy Moon is twilights'first
thrushes may awake a pleasant country
and awake some world)selves
.La. da. Da Da Dada da
(how i would live without you in madness
or in mere death or both who is la guerre)
you could simply me. darling
how precious this point
of creative never known
how unspoken words were feeling
before words before the moon
before God wished Himself into a Father
and then even<
we love and crave smiles and hugs
and immemorial of whos and hows
and whens )
before
how each Soul and heartbeat touches me
which I kiss.

I am from glass globes of roses,
from Gardenias and Gerbers.
I am from dust floating in the air,
caught in winter sun.
I am from lilacs
that can't be contained,
whose fragrance colours early spring.
I'm from toilet paper tubes and marbles,
from King's Daughters and Mayflowers.
I am from a pinch of salt,
pull your weight
and no one wants to hear you complain.
I am from rocky cathedrals,
midnight masses and incense.
From forbidden dances
held long into the night under Aurora Borealis.
I am from moments folded into paper,
hung down halls on sooty walls,
lingering in stories,
on pages,
in ashes
flickering away.

soulful sun shining
with golden gleam glowing bright ~
a farewell to snow
blissful rain showing
its colors against the light ~
a gorgeous rainbow
mayflowers blooming
in petals of gold and white ~
like fair lights in glow
snapdragons springing
blue birds trailing out of sight ~
frigid fountains flow
an emerald green mountain ~
in tears of joy like fountain

Row after row in or shine,
She grew them where the scattered lay;
Mayflowers, roses, columbine,
A fairyland among decay.
I ran to where her wielded wand
Cast beauty down between dead bark.
Damp earth we combed with clawing hand,
Light fingerplay among the dark;
Then danced upon her magic lawn.
"Choose one, the fairest to your eye.
It's grown for you and you alone;
Then tend till old enough to die."
Till old enough? For it or me?
My longer and my shorter years,
A garden kept on bended knee
From vine and weed, with sweat and tears,
And blooded briar, choking turf;
Till bye and bye, a withered rose;
And this: her hushing voice - "enough!
That was the fairyland you chose."

This winding road
I've seen before,
What a welcome sight;
My soul shall make it's flight!
Puffy pussy willows,
And weeping willows,
The sound of a dove
Sings to the Father above.
I tread some more
On this brown and green floor,
With wings of prayer
For thou art there.
Then with much elation,
I bow in adoration,
For there on the ground
Look what I've found,
Mayflowers galore
On this brown and green floor,
I knew there was more
My Lord had in store!
Written March 21, 2006
With much snow on the ground I was deeply touched that in the bare ground patches
MAYFLOWERS were blooming.
Makes me praise our God of Creation!
