My knees are up and I’m still,
and lazily reflective.
Ludovico Einaudi’s song
‘Una Matina’ is playing.
For some reason
my thoughts align and make sense
when I listen to the piano.
I am sitting in still water, listening.
Right now, somewhere else,
someone else just might be doing the same.
Sometimes,
life makes sense, too.
Life's
Sweet dream
Culminates
With advent of
Death!*

* Tribute to a dear cousin of mine that her life's dream
culminated yesterday! R.I.P dearest Matina!
She wears spring's mantle of beauty
Woven by dawn's tender breeze
Her heart devoted to duty
Her mind grasps concepts with ease!

* Dedicated to my fifteen-year-old niece, Matina, for her birthday!
An angel came to earth
A few years ago
With her enchanted birth
Made every heart glow!*
