be it by digital wizards
or print newsroom lizards
Suitable for news
in their narrow views
reports completely depressing --
greed, hatred, murder, war
~ rare, the story with a blessing
Follow the news these days
the sky is always dark gray
To find out about anything good
take a walk ‘round your neighborhood
São Paulo is a
long street that
crosses Brazil
with its "trade"
infernal...
Rio is a stage
lit where
the popcorn maker of
corner, it's handle
of samba and the madam
from Barra, she owns
of gafieira in Lapa...
Belo is a farm
modern...but its
horses are mechanics...
There you breathe the air of
in the ancient days...
The Northeast that was once
fiction plays functions, left
to be illusion and mirage
to be a consumption pole...
The north, still lies down
asleep in wonder
of the green... as planes
traffic their saps...and the
Uncle Sam still eludes
the natives...
From the Central Plateau,
or from the green heart
from the homeland will arise a
resounding cry that
will dislodge the Court
castled...
So the South that still
thinks it is Cisplatin
or argentine gaucho
will untie the triple alliance
and it will be truly believed
Brazilian...!
Oh my Brazil...manly...!
She wished he was there
molding her in tight embrace
though her arms would not hold him.
She longed for his stare
caressing her as his lips neared
though her lips would not meet him.
wished ~ longed ~ molding ~ caressing ~ arms ~ lips
she wanted to hurt that man ~ that man she loves with all her heart
why had he abruptly hurt her ~ the woman he loved with all his heart
WHY
mostly, mainly, she wanted him to seek her ~ to speak to her
Was Insanely and Mainly Crazy
Whatever Trump had done was not humanely;
Started seeing that results ended up insanely;
Always wrong,
And ding dong;
Major part of brain became an imbecile mainly.

for being there
for your warm voice
your arms
your steps
the door you had opened
the chair you had pulled
for your wonderful tie,
for your smell
that I had kissed you
that I had touched you
Thank you for your forgiveness
but above all, for your anger.
