The Mage Whispers

The Mage Whispers

Do you see past your reality tunnels

Your every day to day
Safe plays

As your Geiger Counters
Ticks left to right
As it slowly sways

Do you see the struggles
Of life's many broken runners

In dire trouble
At home or worldwide

Do you see the villains with the dirty bruised knuckles

On television preaching or in real time

Standing in someone else's home

Their back garden
Their jungle
As the world just watches

Engaging in endless bellicose discussions

Will you only take note
When one of the world's elected great hunters

Pushes the red nuclear button

So I summon the power of the Four Elemental Gods

Earth, Air, Fire, and Water
To wake you up

Before that Old Fallen Power
Grows so much stronger

That hope will no longer matter, as it will shatter

Stopping one climbing Jacob's Ladder

The bridge one seeks at birth
Between Heaven and Earth

So be it

What will be
Will be

Gaymer

Say what I might
And declare who I will
People always die
And people always kill
Be that as it may
Skyrim’s a place of change
And even when it’s still
There are choices to be made
I choose how I look
My name, race and age
I choose who I am
And I choose what I say
So while I cannot pick the stage
I can always write the play
I will write my future
Shape reality from clay
Harkon taught me how
And Miraak paved the way
I’m going to Bethesda
And I’m gonna be a mage

The Mage

It sounds like you had the valor.
Are you a hero or a traitor?
Your tale comes down like mythic,
while Victor paints his own epic.

Your passing is a mystery
in the pages of fading history,
like a bleeding tale of glory
tamed with rage and fury.

Your legend was born
like when Lenin blew the horn;
The poor peasants mourn;
A mighty empire was torn.

But the blood of rage
was engraved in every page;
At the right time it may spill;
May the righteous halt the kill.

May the blades of destiny
tame the course of history
so the rage and the fury
will bow down to grace and glory.

Premium MemberHalloween Party

She
peers through
the window
and views with awe
as the evil mage casts spell after spell.
His dark powers cruelly destroy the
children’s plans for
Halloween
party
fun.

She decides to confer with the local
dragon who can
notably
dispel
spells.
The
dragon
breaks the mage’s
evil spells and
kids celebrate Halloween party fun.

The Mage

"Love's Labour's Lost", "The Taming of the Shrew",
"Othello", "Hamlet", "Cymbeline", "Twelfth Night"...
Back in the day I all have passed them through
as people pass through suffering and plight.

My English was as weak as spot I had
for William's beard, for the ruthlessness
of texts to me. At first it was a fad,
a newbie's curiosity, I guess.

Over the time the poison of your ink
has drugged my blood and turned my soul black.
Then I'm afraid that even on the brink
of death I will repeat: "Blow, wind! come, wrack!"*

You are to blame, the Mage, that every night
I must beware of the itch to write.

* Macbeth, Act 5, Scene 5.

Mage

The mage with long cloth stands upon mountain top
Below him is hundred meter drop
His clothes give him shape like a raindrop
Entire countryside is in his scope appearing on the backdrop

His clothes cascade like waterfall
The robes look that way when on his body they fall
He looks at the enigma of the soul
Celestial essence is his goal

With hood on his head he stands like monument what he is thinking is hard to fandom
Energy grows through his every atom
He inhales the breeze admiring the colors of autumn
He is intelligent beyond and with no reference point to fifth element yet he is free of any racism
