Old maid Hadder, got madder and madder
wind blew her bonnet and wet upon it.

Rose Madder

Eloquent to its name
Its pink set deep
Vibrant
Soft and screaming
A morning glory

Etches shade and hue
Though red prose lustre’s
That warm
And cool
In sunset pools

Its flush a more succinct translation
To the blush of scarlet
Captures the Lotus tip
With its piquant colour

As striking as a petal fire
In velvet folds
To delicate depths
Rose Madder
Is my pink neon pallet
