Divisive, just like in the sad past
Ethnicity, yet again is his mast
Mouth sweetening for more votes to cast
Assuring in words to flabbergast
Glories used, which ended in a blast
Only to capture their poor hearts fast
God, always mentioned from first to last
Underneath his mind, money is vast
End please, the mandate for this outcast

What a day for me!
driving back home -
from New Haven, Connecticut
snow started to fall
with all those big lories
towering the cars
caution has to be done.
Traffic snarled the road
both I-95 and 278 West.
heading for Staten Island
t’was a turtle-like flow.
I couldn’t believe the road
that it took me six hours
to get home that night;
while driving up the hill
there’s difficulty at hand.
Oh, what a day for me!
I almost lost my focus
so worried about myself,
time and safety so far.
Seeing some vehicles stranded,
passing them on the road
I felt that if it were me
how I would make it
would depend on those
who’d help me on the way –
like a Good Samaritan, indeed.
